Home Away from Home
My husband and I recently spent a week in Seward and stayed at this wonderful location. We could not have been more happy with these accommodations. This cozy setting was perfect to come back to after putting in many miles hiking all the grandeur that Seward has to offer. The bed was very comfortable and although there is no stove top, the microwave, coffee pot and electric tea kettle served us well. I so appreciated a hot cup of tea in the morning as well as in the evening after a long day of hiking. We also loved being minutes away from many of the trails we hiked. When hiking in NH, we often have to drive 2 plus hours to hike so this was a much appreciated luxury. Although we only met the family briefly due to our busy schedule, I could tell they are a beautiful family and were wonderful hosts. We will definitely try to stay here again if the Lord blesses us with another visit to Seward in our future.
Ideal Home Base to Explore
Exceeded expectations. Had little contact with the owners, which was only because of different schedules, but they were very communicative about directions, check-in details, and a bear on the property. The space itself is lovely. Very comfortable and quiet. Only a few minutes to Seward, the Exit Glacier (Kenai Fjords National Park), and many hiking opportunities. Only things to keep in mind are that the house doesn't have internet. Internet and cell-coverage is tough to come by in the area (Sprint isn't covered at all) so we spent a lot of time at the beautiful public library in Seward. Also, the house has a microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator but no stove. This wasn't a problem at all though as grocery stores and food options are plentiful in Seward. If we make it back up to the Kenai Peninsula Jack and Jen's place would be our first choice.
Lovely stay in Seward!
The unit is a wonderfully cozy place with very nice hosts. I would definitely stay here again when I’m in the area!!
Nice clean and quiet rental ! I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting in the Seward area.
We stayed here while we fished . Great place very relaxing after long days on the water.
Perfect Place - 5 Stars
I stayed at Jack and Jen's place with my two kids (in their early 20's) for a few nights and it was perfect for us. Easy to get to the many trails, parks, and fishing opportunities in and around Seward. Overall, a very cozy and comfortable stay with some really nice extra touches like use of the BBQ to cook the salmon we caught, and such a friendly family to meet.
Awesome place - exceeded expectations !
Super clean and location was awesome!
