A clean, comfy, cozy place outside of town to call home (for a week)
This was the perfect place to call home for a week. Jack and Jen (and family) are very friendly and hospitable and just all-around good people. They immediately made us feel welcome and right at home. They had great advice about the local area of things to do and see. There were four of us and we were very comfortable, but this place could potentially sleep 8 people. There are two beds and a futon on the main floor and a neat loft that has a mattress. There is a small refrigerator and a microwave which made it very handy for keeping groceries cool, or for warming up meals. There is also a coffee pot for that necessary cup o' morning joe. One other perk was the covered, dedicated guest parking. This place is very close to and just outside of Seward. It's clean, cozy and comfortable and a nice place to lay your head at night after a long day of hiking, fishing, or just taking in everything the Seward area has to offer. Our family would recommend this place to anyone coming to the Seward area and are looking for a great place to stay with an awesome host family.
Quiet and Cozy
We were very pleased with our time at the Ransom's cozy accommodations! Everything was clean and neat and the cinnamon bread, chocolate and fruit that was there when we arrived were a wonderful touch! The ride into town was easy and very doable. We saw a bald eagle perched on a branch driving into town one day! And when I had to come back after we checked out to find something that was accidentally thrown away, Jennifer was very understanding. I would highly recommend!
A true home away from home!
Wolf Trail lodging was a perfect spot for us! The space was nicely appointed and spotless. We have stayed at many places in Seward over the years, but this was by far our favorite. It was such a peaceful setting. We were lucky to see a mama moose and calf, the swan couple and their babies on Nash Rd., and just missed a bear in the backyard. A perfect Alaskan experience!
Lovely place, close to town but a local neighborhood feel, with a friendly host family!
Clean, comfy, and spacious. A great place to rest after a day of Aladka activities!! A must stay when in Seward!
Very comfortable, clean, spacious, cozy, well-lit, and private. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing evenings after hiking and sightseeing. Jen and Jack and the kiddos were so nice and friendly, and the cottage was a perfect place to stay while visiting Seward! Already recommended to friends visiting Seward very soon! (:
Home Away From Home
The Ranson family could not do anything more to make our stay so pleasant. The cottage was clean, quiet and welcoming. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Their hostility was a 10. Short drive to Seward.
