Overview

About the property

Townhome, 3 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths (Sleeps 6)

Our Park City-Ski House is THE PERFECT PLACE for you to call home while visiting Park City, Utah! This end-unit, 3 level townhome, with WIFI, is a spacious 1500 square foot, sleeps 6 people and has just been completely renovated and updated to be a perfect getaway for families and friends.

What did we renovate??

In the Kitchen, we added a butcher block island seating 6. We custom painted all of the existing cabinets and added 5 more lineal feet of cabinets and countertops to the long kitchen wall. We lowered our bar to be counter-height which seats 2. The white quartz countertops and white bevel subway tiles are new too. Our GE stainless steel appliances are: 5-burner gas stove, double oven, french-door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, microwave and quiet dishwasher. We removed our coat closet which gives us lots more room for the entry area.

All of the doors and windows throughout our home are new and are custom stained knotty alder.

On the second floor, we added a master bathroom with a huge walk-in shower, 80 lineal inches of white quartz counters, two sinks, two cabinets and 3 large drawers, custom mirrors and new lighting. We also completely renovated the existing 2nd floor bathroom with a new tub/shower with glass door, new toilet, new sink, blue custom-painted cabinet with white quartz countertop, new custom mirrors and new lighting.

Both the Master Bedroom and Bedroom 2 were extended by including some of the deck space. The Master Bedroom has a king bed, double-chest of drawers, a seating area, a 47" flat screen TV and a huge walk-in closet with built-in floor to ceiling shelving and 3 areas for hanging clothes.

Bedroom 2 was enclosed and now is completely private with its own bathroom. It has a Queen bed, double-chest of drawers and closet.

On the third floor, we added a private entry so it is no longer a loft. The third bedroom has two twin beds, a double-chest of drawers, floor-to-ceiling shelving, a walk-in closet, 32" flat screen TV, and a new private bathroom with a large walk-in shower, white quartz countertops and taupe cabinet.

What did we leave that we love:

Spacious Living Area with 47' Flat Screen wall-mounted TV, Gas Fireplace and Beautiful Built-in Alder Cabinetry opening onto the Oversized Deck with PRIVATE HOT TUB.

That's it!

Our home is conveniently located on a quiet cul-de-sac on the prestigious Park Meadows Golf Course in the Racquet Club neighborhood. You can drive to the slopes or downtown Park City in just 5 minutes. Then, when you are ready to kick up your feet and relax after a hard day of skiing, hiking, mountain biking or shopping, return to our peaceful neighborhood and comfortable home! The kids can build a snowman or play in the grass on the spacious grounds. The adults can sip a glass of wine while soaking their tired muscles in the hot tub and admiring the views of Park City's Mountains. What could be better?

Park City is the closest, easiest and most accessible ski town to reach from an international airport. It is located only 36 miles from Salt Lake Intl. Airport. If you don't have a car, airport transportation is easy, and the free Park City Shuttle stops every 20 minutes just 1 block from our home and takes you directly to Park City Mountain Resort, historic Main Street, and the Transit Center.

Within 10 minutes of our home, there are 3 mountains; Park City, Deer Valley and the Canyons. There are 4 additional mountains, Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude within a 40 minute drive. Robert Redford's Sundance Mountain is a 1 hour drive.

One of the wonderful things about the Park City area is the historic town of Park City and its comfortable small town feel! Park City is known for its quaint Main Street lined with wonderful shopping, numerous art galleries and incredible cuisine. Strolling down Main Street is a wonderful pastime. And if you love shopping, save time for a trip to the Outlet Mall (Coach, Banana Republic, Gap, Eddie Bauer, Nike, Old Navy...)!

You will never be bored in Park City!! There is something for everyone!! And you'll enjoy the comforts of home while visiting!!

About The Owner

We are a family of four who live in warm sunny Arizona but who love to travel when we have the opportunity. Our children learned to ski when they were 2 and 3 years old, although the highlight of a day of skiing for them was going inside for a big glass of hot chocolate with lots and lots of marshmallows! They have loved skiing and boarding ever since.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 2005

Why The Owner chose Central Park City

Once we knew we would all be life long skiiers, we decided to purchase a second home so we could ski over the holidays and spend some time away from the soaring temperatures of Arizona in the summers.

We loved some of the ski towns of Colorado, especially Vail and Steamboat Springs, but the logistics and cost of getting there made us realize that we wouldn't be spending as much time there as we would really like.

Park City was the perfect choice for us - we are 35 minutes door to door from our home to the Salt Lake City Intl Airport. You can't find any ski town that is as convenient.

Now we come all the time and have fallen in love with the town.

Park City is wonderful in every way - the people, the restaurants, the shopping, Main Street - it's the best!

We also love the variety of mountain terrain. There are three mountains (PCMR, The Canyons and Deer Valley) within 10 minutes driving of our home and four more mountains (Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude) within 45 minutes driving.

There are many trails for hiking and mountain biking.

Lake Jordanelle is so close - we love renting a boat and going wakeboarding every summer.

And, don't forget Sundance - unforgettable!

What makes this townhome unique

In the summer, the Racquet Club neighborhood is a wonderful place for families, for those who love to walk or bike, and for those who just enjoy sitting on the deck relaxing and enjoying the mountain views.

In the winter, we love coming home from a hard day of skiing and hopping right into the hot tub.

Live like a local in this upscale townhome close to PCMR and town, yet far from the crowd

  • 5 of 5

This townhome had a little of everything for our group of five (husband, wife, grandmother, teenage son & adult friend). Our days began with breakfast in the kitchen before skiing, then coming back to the unit for hot-tubbing before heading out to dinner.

Garage space was convenient with a garage door opener and storage for skis, then make your way across the wood deck (watch your step, as it can get slippery, which is why there's ice melt by the front door!) to the foyer where there were ample hooks and storage areas for our coats and ski belongings from the day on the slopes. The new kitchen flows to a counter then into a cozy family room area with a big screen TV/ DVD and games to keep you occupied. The hot tub is just beyond the family room and is in good shape with powerful jets to melt away the day's aches & pains.

Though I never saw the "before" pictures, the remodel design and finishes are top notch and nowhere is it more evident than in the kitchen. We all hung around the new kitchen island with stools for breakfast and other meals.

The second floor includes the master bedroom and a lovely double vanity master bath with a large, glass enclosed shower and a sizable walk-in closet. There's also a 2nd bedroom with ensuite bath that's just great as well.

Up the 2nd flight of stairs is the 3rd bedroom with two twins, both of which are ample sized for adults 6 feet and under. There's another big screen tv up there and ensuite bathroom as well. It would make a ideal room for kids to hang out away from the adults in the family room.

We loved the quiet location that was so convenient to get everywhere- 15 minutes to Canyons parking lot, 7 minutes to PCMR, 10 minutes to the town of Park City and 20 minutes to Silver Lake at Deer Valley. Additionally, the wonderful Park City Rec Center was about 400 yards away- day passes are inexpensive- just bring a lock for the locker and a towel for your post workout shower.

We loved the fluffy towels in the unit and the refrigerator's ice maker was a nice touch, along with the limited staples available (coffee filters, paper towels, sugar, salt & pepper, etc.). Highly recommend this unit for your next trip to Park City!

Beautiful new remodel

  • 5 of 5

The four of us (2 moms and our respective sons) spent a great 6 nights in Tracy's home. The home gave us plenty of space for ski equipment, clothe and suitcases, and privacy to accommodate conference calls and different bedtimes without disturbing anyone else. We loved that each room had its own bathroom, the jacuzzi tub on the deck, the comfortable beds, the washing machine and dryer, and the easy access to the bus stop to get to the slopes. Our sons even walked the block to the sports club around the corner and got workouts in a few times. We didn't feel like we were staying in a generic rental condo, but a comfortable home we could really relax in at the end of each day. Tracy was a great host, and was accessible and very responsive to our questions and requests. I highly recommend this home.

Well-appointed condo, with great customer service!

  • 5 of 5

The three bed, 3.5 bath unit was a comfortable place to stay over the President's Day week. We stayed for 7 nights, and could not have been more comfortable in the newly-updated kitchen and bathrooms. The owners' have great style, and while the unit is no mansion, there was more than enough room for everyone that stayed. The one-car garage was great, since we got nearly three feet of snow during our trip. My one negative was the relative price, plus a $1,000 deposit. We could handle it, but the pricing is more on par with standalone homes in some parts of Park City. We will likely consider staying there again, if the pricing is competitive to other properties available around the Park City area. Thanks for the hospitality!

What a gem for Sundance! Remodel is absolutely AMAZING.

  • 5 of 5

We have been staying in this condo for a few years now + we have loved it. But WOW, we were totally bowled over by the renovations. It felt like staying at a very high-end luxury hotel. The condo was so lovingly updated, with incredible attention to detail. The master shower is a *dream*--it is huge, beautiful + all marble. It's the perfect end to a tiring Sundance day. I also slept in the master bedroom and the bed + bedding was so luxurious. The convenience of being right next to a major Sundance venue is such an added bonus. Tracy has always been so helpful in getting back to me immediately if we have any questions. This was indeed a very snowy year but everything we needed was there -- including a tasteful stainless steel bucket filled with ice melt! Congrats on such a beautiful reno -- this has to be the most high-end place to lay your head in the Racquet Club.

The nicest condo in the racket club!! Just completely renovated and they didn't miss a thing!

  • 5 of 5

We just stayed at this Racket club unit and didn't want to leave. The owners redid the entire place, reconfiguring the floor plan too. Now the unit has 4 gorgeous bathrooms! I'm a builder and I appreciate their attention to every last detail! From top of the line plumbing fixtures, vivid white countertops, fabulous tile showers with 3/8th inch glass! Right down to Carrara marble tooth brush holders and soap dishes! The place is stunningly beautiful! Everything is new, first class and done with taste! New flooring, cabinets, doors, appliances, TV's, new beds, mattresses, dishes they replaced everything! The sheets and towels are incredible!

We will most defiantly return! Finally a unit that was completely remodeled to high end standards and a deep pocket book because they tastefully fitted it out with the best of everything! I loved this one!! My hats off to the owners! Thank you! We will be back!! Vern

GReat PLace in Central location for ski vacation.

  • 5 of 5

This was our family's third ski vacation at this townhome. JUst five minutes to Town and Park City, ten minutes to Deer Valley and the Canyons. MInd blowing skiing just minutes away. We had plenty of space to unwind after a day on the slopes. We drove to the mountains to ski and took the free shuttle a block away into town for dinner. ENjoyed hot tub on the deck with views of Park City Mountain. CAn't wait to come back again!
