Being able to cook and eat in a home from home environment,
Property is older than the pics indicate but otherwise exactly as described. It's an excellent location! Only a few minutes walk from the beach. The owner is very responsive once you are in town, although I was unable to get ahold of her prior to that. The neighbors are very quiet but the street is sometimes a little loud with cars and late night foot traffic. The only thing I would change is to add privacy curtains in the bathroom window. This was an excellent, affordable choice for us.
This home worked well for our family of four adults. Helped to have twin beds in second bedroom. Very clean, nicely decorated. We especially liked being only 3 blocks to the beach. We walked everywhere. Brought our bikes so it was helpful to have the backyard to put them in. We had one issue arise during our stay and Rose promptly took care of it. Imperial Beach was not as touristy as other beach towns we have stayed in which we liked. The beach is large and was not crowded. We rode our bikes to the end of Seacoast Dr and walked further south down the beach, collecting tons of seashells, practically had it to ourselves. Our family had a great vacation here!
Great location, plenty of parking, not your typical congested coastal town. The pier and beach area was beautiful... Great drive thru to San Diego. The home appeared much bigger than the 680 sft and was very comfortable. It had everything needed. Rose was prompt and helpful with any of our questions. Will book again for sure. Great value.
The cottage was beautiful and clean. So close to the beach. The caretaker was very helpful and was there if we needed anything. My family had a great time. When we go again it will be here. .
Cottage was clean and as appeared in the pictures. It is an older home but was perfect for us. Walking distance to beach and pier. Had great cupcakes at the bakery down the street. Wish there were TVs in the bedrooms and the oven worked but owner said she is having that repaired. All in all we will come back here again.
