Barn in the middle of the "Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne" between Mauriac and Aurillac, with all amenities. The house is also just 10 minutes drive from the most beautiful village in France called Salers.
Salers amounts to 950 m above sea level and is a site not to be missed in the region. This is a unique 16th century village, medieval city and seat of the bailiwick of the HTE-Auvergne. Old houses in dark volcanic stone and topped with turrets give the village an austere charm. Among the treasures found in the walled city there is the Church of Saint Matthew with five 17C Aubusson tapestries, a burial and a polychrome lectern.
The barn is on a vast wooded land of 8000 square meters, which is ideal for children and parents. This is a perfect base for exploring the region, hikes in the volcano park, fishing, swimming and golf.
