Quiet location

We arrived very late, 11pm, after flight delays and being re-routed through Bologna. Fabrizio met us at the Vap.stop and led us to the unit. But 1st stopped at the trash drop location and explained trash rules. We then got to the unit which has a small lift, but stops 1 floor below our floor. Not terrible. Once inside, it didn't seem as bright and airy as depicted in the photo. Fabrizio then had me sign and initial a contract about damages to the property. After almost 24 hrs. travel, I wasn't in the mood for a lecture. We are 4 responsible adults.I would suggest to the owners to remove the glass coffee table which is a hazard and/or likely to get broken. The unit was fully furnished for cooking, however, we chose not to. There is only 1 "bedroom ". The other twins/trundle bed is in a den with pocket doors. I think that should be more clear in the description. Overall, our stay was ok and we left the unit spotless. I do thank the owners for sending me a late arrival receipt for €80 to submit to the airline for reimbursement.

Clean but fragile

We were met by Fabrizio who raced to the apt as we dragged our luggage through the streets and bridges with stairs. He tried to explain things while we walked but had to keep track of my family so i wouldn't lose them. Once we got there he went on and on about how fragile everything was. We were 4 adults and didn't appreciate getting lectured on being warned not to break things in the apartment. Air conditioner only worked in main room not in bedroom, when we arrived, texted owner to get fixed, did not get back to us till last day we were there. Contract had to be signed that had extra charges and rules that should was not aware of when booked the listing. Garbage had to be brought to a dock not close to the apt, not very convenient. Balcony door broken, could not open to see canal. 3rd floor, lots of stairs, elevator only went to 2nd, not easy to bring heavy luggage. Overall did not feel welcome to Venice.

Excellent apartment conveniently located

The apartment is on third floor, with completely updated modern interior and has everything necessary for a week stay or longer, also very quiet. Location is the best, we always try to select an apartment in between Realto and Sant Marco, but this apartment is better then previous we rented. I wish we can rent it again someday.

Wonderful Stay in Venice!

We loved our 4-night stay at the Life-in-Venice apartment. What a wonderful place to stay at when you’re in Venice! Extremely spacious and comfortable, it had 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, large living/dining room and kitchen. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with everything to make it a perfect short-term home for a small family. TV has a huge selection of channels, WiFi works great, kitchen is well equipped and functional. There is a very robust central a/c system in the apartment. Also, the apartment has screens against mosquitoes on all windows, which is so important but is often missing in Venice. Though the apartment is strategically located right in the center of all the action Venice, between San Marco square and Rialto bridge, close to restaurants and shops, it was very quiet at night. There are also several grocery stores nearby. Stefano met us at the Rialto station. brought to the apartment and gave a comprehensive tour, which was very helpful. Also, we appreciated the Prosecco bottle treat. Overall, we were thrilled with our choice of the apartment in Venice and definitely will return. Thank you, Stefano!
