Our home is the perfect starting point for visiting Cinque Terre, as it is located not even 5 minutes away from La Spezia Centrale train station, where you can get on the trains for Riomaggiore and the other villages of Cinque Terre; it is also a few metres away from the city centre, where you can find supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and everything else you might need.

“La Casa di Bruna" is one of the two apartments inside a villa built in the early 1900s, located in a safe and calm neighbourhood on the hills of La Spezia. The apartment is made up of a wide corridor leading to the two bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living room. Both Kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped. On the back of the house there also is a patio/garden, furnished with table, chairs, a big beach umbrella and barbecue, so that you’ll be able to enjoy your summer meals outside.

> We also offer a private parking at a small additional fee (25€/night) 4 minutes from your doorstep (NOT included in the price you pay on Airbnb), to be requested upon booking/well in advance. We'll try our best to guarantee one parking spot.

> The house is located halfway along a stairway; thus it might not be suitable for those with motor impairments.

> CHECK IN TIME is between 4 PM and 7 PM, unless otherwise agreed upon booking/well in advance – for arrivals later than 8 PM we reserve the right to ask you a 50€ late check in fee.

We loved our stay at this property

Great Location!

Beautiful home only minutes from the train station. Hosts were extremely nice and accommodating, especially when we needed to leave our luggage at the house after the checkout time. I would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit La Spezia.

Gracious Hosts, Beautiful Villa

Outstanding accommodations close to the train station and city center. Clean, fresh, spacious, clear instructions, comfortable - attention to every detail made our stay effortless. Outdoor patio is the perfect setting overlooking the hills surrounding La Spezia. There are a number of steps to get up to the property, but the trek is totally worth it. These hosts are first class.

Uphill steps to comfort

Very comfortable in a unique location. Has all your needs. Lots of walking to find restaurants and markets. Great exercise. Must use trains to visit Cinque Terre Villages.

LOVELY

Our party of four had a wonderful stay. The apartment was spacious and modern yet full of charm and situated within five minutes walking distance to the train, restaurants, markets etc. Elise was great; always replying promptly to any questions. So happy we stayed at Casa di Bruna.

Gorgeous view but prepare to walk!

We loved out accommodations. The house was spacious and the hosts were very helpful. Pros-big bedrooms, big washrooms, clothes washer, dishwasher, close to train station and restaurants, great views, quiet. Cons-many stairs to walk up from town to the house (263 total). Mattress in the bedroom with ensuite bathroom if extremely hard and uncomfortable. La Spezia is a great location with lots to do and a good home base to access CT.

Beautiful place, convenient location, nice owners

We liked staying in La Spezia instead of in one of the Cinque Terre towns. La Spezia is a real town with lots of choices of good restaurants, grocery stores, shopping,public transit and a pretty plaza which was fun to walk on. Ferry is close by for going to Cinque Terre. We also took the bus to Porta Vanera for visiting castle, eating and swimming. We took a water taxi to the nearby island to swim. Beaches were rocky but the water was nice to swim in. Best swimming was at Monterosso which we got to by ferry. Gorgeous water, swimming and can rent a lounge chair and umbrella for access to the private beach and changing facilities. Went to a great restaurant nearby on cliff with beautiful view. La Casa di Bruni was beautiful, very nice interior and bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen. Loved the patio with lemon trees and lavender overlooking the mts and town. Do be aware there are 60 steps to climb from road to apt. Owners were very nice in helping carry suitcases as well as picking us up and dropping us off at train station close by.

Space to rejuvenate and access Cinque Terra villages

We were very happy to have a full kitchen, including oven and dishwasher, and a washing machine in our flat. The view from our bedroom was great and we could hang our washing outside to dry. WE could also eat inside or outside as the flat we stayed in had both kinds of spaces. We stayed in the upper flat, but our friends stayed with another couple in the lower flat. Both were beautifully furnished with old and new touches. Elisa, our contact for the booking was extremely helpful and accommodating. They picked all of us up at the train station which is quite close and there is a short walk to the village to pick up food supplies. There are many stairs in La Spezia and to this flat, so if you have problems with stairs, this wouldn’t be suitable for you, but if you need incentive to get yourself in shape for hikes in Cinque Terra, and you want a homey place with a garden to spend some comfortable time in, this is gorgeous accommodation with great owners. Each flat, the upper and the lower has two bedrooms and they book separately.

Wonderful journey point for Cinque Terre

Elisa was great and the property is wonderful! Be sure and enjoy the beautiful garden and use its lemons to make some fresh lemonade Lots of steps to get your luggage so a cab from train station is better than walking there

Perfect place, perfect host!

We used the apartment to explore the surrounding towns. The beds were comfortable, showers were wonderful, and air conditioning kept it cool. Nice patio to watch the city too.

Great place to stay!

This was a very nice place with an incredible view of La Spezia and the surrounding mountains. The location was in close proximity to everything you would need. Train station, restaurants, city center. The only downside is that it is a pretty good hike to get up to the apartment, especially if you have any luggage. I would recommend a taxi.

Silvia & Fausto were wonderful in providing transported to and from the train station with our heavy luggage even when we needed to leave at 7 AM. The apartment is spacious and very clean with a beautiful patio area. We had a wonderful time in La Spezia exploring and spending one day in Cinque Terre. Thank you for such a lovely homebase that met all our needs during our time in La Spezia.

Beautiful home

I really loved this home. Beautifully decorated and has everything you need. There is room to lounge around and have privacy within the home. My girlfriends and I stayed here for a couple days and I wished we had more time. This is definitely a place I would love to stay in for several days with my family. The host was wonderful as well. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

Beautiful Apartment in La Spezia

This is a beautiful apartment close to the centre of La Spezia, yet in a peaceful location. We found the location perfect for exploring Cinque Terre by train and the surrounding areas by car, and we were pleased to have use of the private parking space that can be rented separately.. The apartment is very comfortable, was spotlessly clean, and has nice views over La Spezia. We enjoyed the large terrace with lemon trees too. We can thoroughly recommend, and if we ever come back to the area again would definitely choose to stay here. Silvia was a lovely host and had supplied a lot of tourist information in the apartment. Thank you very much :)

The Masked Huday

We have just left after 8 nights here at Casa de Bruna and what a superb time we have had, even if it meant wearing a mask around Ls Spezia and the Cinque Terre most of the time. The villa is close to the station but you need to be fit to climb the stairs up to it. Trains are plentiful along the coast and the walking routes around the 5 villages of Cinque Terre are well marked. The scenery is stunning and the villages are quaint and colourful. We are so pleased we decided to be brave and travel from the UK to Italy for a break. It has been great in all aspects, our accommodation, the food, the lack of crowds and even the weather, as we seen done great lightening across the hills and very stormy seas.

The perfect VRBO in La Spezia

We have stayed at VRBO's for many years and this was the cleanest home we have every stayed in. It is perfectly located to enjoy historic La Spezia and so convenient to train and ferries. Highly recommend to all. Elisa is great.

Merveilleux séjour !

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine à La Spezia. La Casa di Elisa est très bien située (5 min de la gare, 10 min du centre ville et 20 min de l'embarcadère à pied). C'est une maison très confortable et agréable. Petit-déjeuner et diner dans le jardin au milieu des citronniers et des lavandes était un vrai bonheur pour nous qui vivons à Paris. Et les parents d'Elisa qui nous ont accueillis ont été vraiment charmants. Cette région est magnifique, n'hésitez pas !
