This lovely Westport Point home has been in our family for over 50 years.
Set on 3 acres of land and approximately 2 miles from beautiful Horseneck Beach. With a fully equipped kitchen and French country dining table, delicious meals can be enjoyed at a table for 10.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, while the 2 smaller rooms sleep 2, one with 2 twins and one with a double (reclining bed!)
The house is filled with original art work, french antiques and pottery. There is a gas fireplace in the dining room with a Corbusier chaise lounge.
Find a quiet spot in the garden to read, or sit on the front porch in the morning enjoying coffee and the flower garden.
There is a fresh seafood market a mile down the road where the best swordfish can be bought to grill outside. One can eat nothing but local fruits and vegetables from farm stands (when in season).
Take an outdoor fresh water shower after a day at the beach.
A full bocce ball court is just a few steps away in the lower garden.
Westport Harbor is replete with fishing, and sail boats. Kayaks and canoes can be rented up river.
The rolling hills of farmland and salt water rivers are unique in New England.

About the owner: I am Sacha Sullivan, one of the 3 owners along with my 2 sisters. I grew up in Cambridge MA and spent my childhood summers here. I have loved Westport so much that I bought my own house a few miles away and live in Westport year round with my husband and daughter. We painstakingly restored every nook and cranny of our own 1800's house! My brother Alex also has a house down the road where he spends as much time as he can with his children when he's not working in New York. Valery and Niki come often with their families as well to enjoy the property.
Why the Owner Chose Westport, MA, USA:
Westport is 70 minutes from Boston, 30 minutes from Providence, and 3 1/2 hours from NYC. Our house is one of very few farmhouses maintained in the period in which it was built (with updated amenities). It is one of the most beautiful areas of New England on the south coast. Originally a fishing village, there are houses with original widow's walks, farms and gardens down to the sea.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
My parents purchased the Macomber Farm because they fell in love with the area, the charm of the land, and the untouched antique house with 12 acres. Over the years we have divided it into 2 units, keeping with the original charm and integrity. We gave land to the Conservation Trust which provides quiet and privacy for acres behind the house. It is a short bike ride down to the harbor and the ocean. On a clear day you can see Cuttyhunk and Martha's Vinyard.
