This is a Beachfront Home with 4 bedrooms all having En-suite baths perfect for couples or a family stay. This villa has a terrific layout for privacy as each bedroom suite is located in a different wing of the house. The Swimming pool is on the entry side of the home with a really nice private courtyard.

Best yet...this is an invitation to 'live in a glass house' surrounded by views. The roll and rush of the ocean are the focal point from every vantage point.. Every glance is an ocean view through the expansive walls of windows. From the break of sunrise to the moon's reflective ocean glow -- you are part of the Caribbean Ocean.

This 2500 square-foot villa is enhanced by a wall of french doors which open to include the 1500 square-foot lush courtyard patio. Open each door to extend the villa, and place the pool just steps from any room in the villa. A convivial party atmosphere for any occasion!

The home is located in the exclusive gated community of Judith Fancy on the North shore of St. Croix, with views of Christiansted Harbor and Buck Island. Enjoy the primitive lure of island life in the comfort of a villa! A 10 minute drive to the best restaurants and nightlife in Christiansted, or retreat to the moon glow of the Caribbean Ocean -- your choice!

A 10 minute walk to Salt River Bay National Historic Park & Ecological Preserve puts you on the only lands Christopher Columbus touched belonging to the United States.

The master bedroom and bath opens to its own ocean-front deck and has its own private outdoor shower and sunbathing area. The other bedrooms also have an ocean views.. The fourth bedroom is located close to the swimming pool and has a view of the ocean and Buck Island.

The courtyard and swimming pool are completely walled and private. The property is surrounded by 6 to 10 foot rows of sea grapes plants on either side to provide seclusion from neighbors on an acre of sea-front land.

On 'special days', you'll see St. Thomas or St. John 40 miles off in the distance, or catch sight of an errant kite surfer shooting the waves or maybe you will taste the salt spray as you bathe in the tropical sun on the ocean-front deck. And on 'special nights', you'll be able to wish upon a falling star under the Caribbean sky. May your stay include a very special time!

Suitability Disclaimer: This home is 100 feet away from the ocean (you could not get any closer unless you were staying on a house boat). Coastal regulations no longer approve homes to be built this close to the ocean. Guests should expect to see some level of rust in areas throughout the home this is due to constant salt spray and high humidity. This is a comfortable older beachfront home. The value in the stay is the spectacular oceanfront location (sounds of the waves) not in the home itself. This is not a fully air conditioned house, wall air conditioning units are only in the bedrooms. Therefore, this vacation rental may not be suitable to guests that are accustomed to pristine 5 star resort style accommodations.

Other things to note: Access to the beach is a few steps from the deck that leads to a private pathway down to the beach. This is not a sandy beachfront location the beach is fairly rocky not suitable for swimming or snorkeling as waves are to rough.

Please do not send requests asking for long term rental. Short term stays only of 14 days or less only.

Dear Prospective Guest,

There aren’t really too many house rules. Basically, come in and make yourself at home. There’s no such thing as a check-in time that’s too late, so no worries there. Let me know if you’d like an earlier check-in time than 5:00 PM or later check-out time than 10:00AM. It can usually be arranged, depending on other bookings.

Our only request is please do not invite visitors, the villa and all the amenities we provide are only for our registered guests.

Please do not strip the sheets off the bed we prefer to do this ourselves, just put the beds back the way you found them with bedding left flat on top of the beds. If towels are damp please hang them over the towel rack to air dry. Please wipe down kitchen counter tops, load and start the dishwasher(s) if you are unsure where kitchen inventory belongs please leave on the counter. If grill has been used, please brush grill down and wipe off side trays. Lights have been turned off and check to make sure all doors are locked and bag all trash from kitchen and just toss your trash in the garbage receptacle(s) on the side of the driveway on your way out.

After you book and well before your arrival date, you’ll receive an email from us explaining how to get to the villa, where to park, and all sorts of good information about things to do in and around this wonderful island. When you arrive, there will be tourist brochures and welcome letter with more information, like WiFi access code and restaurant recommendations.

We want you to thoroughly enjoy the villa and your time in St. Croix. We’ll do everything we can to make that happen. It’s hoped you’ll book with us over and over again. We truly want you to enjoy the accommodations. We'll do everything I can to make your stay wonderful.

About The Owner

My husband and I used to own the villa and sold it to Larry and his wife Jane back in 2005. We have been handling all the reservations for them for the past ten years. What we enjoy most is seeing all the wonderful renovations the entire villa has been remodeled with new kitchen, bathrooms, floors, windows and much more..

Larry, is a gentleman farmer in Central Pennsylvania and has managed up to 40 head of cattle on their 200-acre farm. The purchased this vacation home in St. Croix because, after traveling throughout the Caribbean, the felt this island has the Caribbean ambiance, while still having American convenience!

Larry’s wife's family is from Venezuela, so they have enjoyed trips to Angel Falls and Machu Picchu in South America. They have witnessed several volcano eruptions in Costa Rica, traveled in Cappadocia, Turkey and the Red Zone of Australia.

Larry has been in the Real Estate Development and Brokerage business for the past 40 years.

Why The Owner chose Christiansted

Since we were the previous owners we can describe the villa in great detail. If you are looking for an oceanfront property with a semi private beach only steps away... then you have come to the right place! The best feature of this villa is every bedroom has it's own private bathroom. The villa has tons of windows and with it sitting so close to the ocean you can see beautiful blue ocean views out every window in the villa. The kitchen has French Doors that open up to the patio is another really neat feature. A super villa for family gatherings and for multiple couples!

What makes this house unique

Always being able to enjoy waking to the sounds and sight of the ocean, so I chose this ocean-front property. Larry and Jane have enjoyed St. Lucia with its characteristic pitons, Dominica because of its pristine Caribbean flavor, Barbados with its South American character, but St. Croix is the place they can call home!

Great Family Vacation!

Our family of 5 very much enjoyed this beautiful home. The 3 teens loved all the space, private rooms, & especially the pool. The home is very clean & well equipped. Like the other reviews mentioned- it is oceanfront with gorgeous views but not swimmable at all. There are numerous swimmable beaches just a short drive away so that was not an issue. The only complaint we had which really isn't even a complaint, is that we couldn't get the tv to work. Probably just wrong input or channel. I would suggest tv instructions be posted to assist guests. But like I said not even a complaint when your in paradise. Would def. rec. this home.

Great house! Had a wonderful time!

There were 8 adults with us (2 families). We all had a great time- we spent most of our time on the back deck and pool area. Although the house was a little rough around the edges due to the high winds and salt spray, that is very typical of St. Croix, along with rocky beaches. If you're looking for a luxurious place to stay that is pristine, anywhere in St. Croix is NOT going to suit you - that's not what St. Croix is about. It's about going to amazing beaches, eating at casual restaurants with great food, relaxing and partying!

I've been to St. Croix 6 times now, and would recommend staying here - especially with family and friends as opposed to a hotel. The house felt very private to the neighbors home, and the bedrooms were also very private. The neighborhood is very safe - not too close or too far from Christiansted (about a 10-minute drive). We kept the bedroom doors closed the whole time, as the a/c was on and it kept the bedrooms cool for sleeping and getting ready, which is the only time we spent in there. The pool was nice and warm, and we went in every day early in the day and around dinner time. We cooked on the grill 3 nights of our 5-night stay, and enjoyed the breeze coming through the house onto the back patio. When we got too hot, we went to the beach side and enjoyed the breeze and the view. With the house open, we didn't miss the a/c in the main area. The house was also very-well equipped with pool floats, chairs for the beach, beach towels and even snorkeling equipment. The washer and dryer were on the back patio and we were able to use that easily while enjoying the house. All-in-all, it was an awesome place to stay, and would come back again!

Beautiful home.

House is beautiful and well equipped. Outdoor space, including pool is fabulous. Kitchen great if a cook. Cons: beach is not swimmable or walkable- should be mentioned in the overview and no air conditioning in the main space makes staying inside uncomfortable.

Relaxing Home Away From Home

We loved our visit and stay in Judith's Fancy at the Sea Glass Villa! We stayed April 8-15. The house is exactly as it appears in the pics. Very comfortable with everything you need. The bedrooms and baths were relaxing and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped as we cooked most days for the four of us occupying the home. There are extra fans in the bedrooms. The pool was sparkling blue and well maintained. We enjoyed lounging and swimming in the warm sun and/or moonlight. You will need swim shoes for the beach area. The house has some snorkel equipment available, pool floats and sand toys. Go to the house first and explore what's available before you go buy food or accessories as you never know what the previous renters may have left behind for the next renters :) We also used the grill for two dinners. There are four large beach towels per bedroom. The washer and dryer were handy as well. The back porch was lovely, especially in the mornings eating breakfast and watching the sun rise. As a previous reviewer stated, the home does show a little wear and tear, but it was nothing that prevented us from having a fabulous time and enjoying everything about the home and the area.

Michael, the caretaker, was extremely helpful, quick to respond and available for anything we needed.

This was our second visit to St Croix. Our favorite eatery is Rowdy Joe's. We ate outside on the patio and the staff is AMAZING (Burger was her last name and the other staff was equally awesome) and the food, well... off the hook. We also had dessert and drinks at Savant, downtown Christiansted. We particularly enjoyed eating downstairs in The Courtyard. Off The Wall was fun as well.

We drove all over the island; visited Point Udall and the Frederiksted Pier, stopped and hung out at beaches here and there. Shopped downtown Christiansted (Asha, The Blue Mutt, and many more), Christiansted Harbor (they have a live cam there :)) and loads of really cool shops and eateries. When you hit The Bistro, Coffee and Eatery (great coffee and eats) you must go next door and visit Undercover Books. These ladies are absolutely beautiful and the store has so much to explore.

Our visit was bittersweet as there was a death in our original 8 person group prior to our arrival. Linda was quick to respond to questions we had, modifications to the guest list, and we appreciated her condolences as well.

We look forward to returning soon.
