About Conrad Rios
My wife and I purchased this home in 2012 and have spent the last 3 years slowly renovating and upgrading the property. All of the rooms were taken down to the studs, walls were relocated, the ceiling was lifted, closets were added, doors were moved, a bathroom was added, skylight was installed upstairs, a complete kitchen remodel, spa style bathroom complete with a chandelier upstairs, all new flooring, all new furnishings. Everything within this home is brand new. The deck addition is the perfect location for an evening family BBQ or a relaxing cocktail.
Conrad Rios purchased this House in 2012
Why Conrad Rios chose Forest Grove
We chose Forest Grove over other areas of Portland metro, due to the fact that it's out of the hustle and bustle, and offers a very small town feel within a short drive to the coast or to City Center in Portland. Forest Grove is a friendly small town feel with live theater and arts and entertainment provided by Pacific University! We enjoy nature, hiking, golf and taking beautiful hikes through the forest. The convenience of having the rugged shoreline within an hour's drive is the icing on our cake!

This home felt like an adorable spacious cottage.
I loved staying in this home while we checked out Pacific University for our son. I had the whole upstairs to myself and felt like a princess. I tool a bath every day in that wonderful tub. The home was very clean and everything that we needed was available. I hope to stay here again when I visit my son at the university.
The property is very well appointed and well stocked
We came for the solar eclipse and enjoyed viewing from the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum in nearby McMinnville. The house was very comfortable and quiet. There are some beautiful trees on the property.
Very quaint and comfortable home!! Kitchen has great appliances and tools.
A little smaller than I imagined but great kitchen and location! The back deck is awesome and really enjoyed sitting outside. It is obvious that this is a much older home under revision, but if you like older homes it is very charming!! Beds, only 3 available were very comfortable! Nice TVs in 3 rooms and furniture in living room really nice. This home comfortably accommodates 3 couples or a family with 2 or 3 children depending on their age and sex. We went with two teens, one boy and one girl, a grandpa, and a grandma, and another couple. Fortunately we brought air beds or else we would have had a problem. I don't think the site explains their accommodations so that it is clear. I believe it also said 4 bedrooms but only 3 actually there. I apologize if I am remembering incorrectly. At any rate I would stay here again as I loved the house and the convenience of its location.
Great home and location!
Located in a small town in the Willamette Valley, this property is a complete gem! It's easy to see this property has been restored with a lot of class and attention to detail. The home is extremely well equipped with everything anyone will need to enjoy this wonderful property.
The location is great for enjoying the Willamette Valley and it's vineyards, and a short drive to both the beautiful Oregon coast and the city of Portland. The wi-fi is excellent and the A/C is a definite plus! It was very hot while we were there. We highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.
Great home in old town Forest Grove
We stayed 5 days at this location while visiting my 90 year old uncle and cousins. The home is roomy with areas to play cards and games. Decor is farmhouse chic and interesting. It is an older home, but recently modernized and clean. We would stay here again.
Very quaint cottage! Excellent location!
We had an awesome time with our family! Really enjoyed it! Very homey! Beds were great! Upper floor not for childbirth older folks. Stairs are very steep!
Enjoy the surrounding farmland and wineries in Forest Grove! Pick berries and other local fruit, visit Forest Grove's farmers market, Saki one tours and saki tasting, walk to downtown to shop or dine. Enjoy a pub style meal at Kings Head English pub, or choose from Italian, Thai, Mexican, hawaiian, pizza, tapas, all within walking distance. Pacific University is just 4 blocks away and many parks and playgrounds are also within walking distancee. B st. walking trail is a two blocks away, with beautiful bike and walking paths. This is the perfect home for people who want to be outside the city, but close enough to enjoy it's amenities from time to time. An ideal location not far from the beautiful Oregon coast (one hour), Portland City Center (30 miles), wineries within 5 minutes, Saki factory within 5 minutes, Tillamook national forestry center and hiking within 15-20 minutes, Tillamook Cheese Factory (1 hr or less), fantastic hiking, Hagg lake for fishing, water skiing, paddle boarding, boat rental (10 min away)
