Year Purchased: 1973
About: I spent the early part of my youth living in the North End. My family owned a home just up the street from the Cottage on Hull St. I attended Saint Anthony's, Saint Mary's and Christopher Columbus High School all located in the North End. We attended Sunday mass at either Saint Leonard's or Saint Mary's churches, My mother loved the children's Choirs at these churches and we would split our time between them. My family moved to the South Shore in the late sixties due to my fathers job change. I have always loved the North End and returned there to visit my Aunts and walk the neighborhood streets every chance I could.
Why North End, Boston, MA, USA:
The Enchanted Cottage is right off the Freedom Trail and right around the corner from the Old North church, within walking distance to everything that you came to Boston to experience. This cottage is not just a rental but a family home that has been part of my family for over 40 years. It is unique in that it is a single family home and not an apartment, it also has an outside patio and does not require you to climb two or three flights of stairs.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
The Enchanted Cottage is a single family home with a wonderful patio, where you can sit out side and enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine, where you can enjoy a conversation with the friendly residents of the area or the Boston visitors who always stop and ask about the cottage.
