Beach, Updated Condo Steps To Heated Pool, Fitness Center And Picturesque Pond
This two bedroom, two bath condo is located in the Ocean Walk community of St. Simons Island. Ocean Walk is one of the most desirable village area accommodations. Spread over sixteen beautiful acres, the grounds are shaded by century-old oaks and dotted with ponds. Amenities include two swimming pools (one is seasonally heated), fitness center, tennis courts, playground, and clubhouse with internet access. Guests are within walking distance of the St. Simons Island village, pier, shops, restaurants, lighthouse, and oceanfront Neptune Park.
This lovely condo is located on the ground floor. It has been tastefully decorated, and updated with open kitchen with bar area, dining area, bright, sunny living area, master suite with large closet, new comfortable beds in guest bedroom, and nice patio area for outdoor dining or relaxing. It's only a short walk from the heated pool, fitness room, and duck pond with relaxing fountain.
RENTER REQUIREMENTS: For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be the same as the credit/debit card holder. This person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental are considered to be the Guest's invitees, and all discussion regarding reservation, cancellation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest's invitees. The Guest understands that Roland Daniel Properties rents to responsible adults over the age of 25 ONLY.
DOWN PAYMENT/ PAYMENT: A reservation can be confirmed with a 50% down payment paid by credit card when the reservation is made. Full payment is charged 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date. The credit card must have an expiration date that extends beyond your stay. If a reservation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, full payment is due to confirm the reservation. Credit cards accepted are Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover Card.
BALANCE PAYMENT: If no other payment is received 30 days prior to arrival, we will automatically process the balance to the credit card on file. Balance is due no later than 30 days prior to your arrival date. We can keep the balance payment on the same credit card used for the initial payment, you may contact us to provide a different card.
DAMAGE POLICY: Every reservation requires a $49 damage protection policy (“Vacation Rental Damage Plan”). This Vacation Rental Damage plan covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check out. Full details of coverage are outlined in the reservation agreement guest will receive upon making a reservation.
ARRIVAL TIME: Check in is at 4 pm. An early arrival may be arranged for an additional fee, pending other reservations, availability and the housekeeping schedule. Please contact us within 48 hours of your arrival to make these arrangements. Unless you have specifically arranged for an early arrival time, please do not arrive at the property before your scheduled check in time. NO EARLY CHECK-INS WILL BE APPROVED DURING HIGH SEASON (MEMORIAL DAY THOUGH LABOR DAY) OR HOLIDAYS.
DEPARTURE TIME: Check out is at 10 am. Your prompt departure is appreciated so we can prepare the property for any incoming guests. A late departure may be arranged for an additional fee, pending other reservations and the housekeeping schedule. If you have not arranged for a late check out, you may be charged $50 for each hour beyond 10 am you are still on property, at a minimum of one hour. If the property has not been vacated by 4 pm, a fee equal to the rental rate of 1 night may be assessed in addition to hourly fees. NO LATE CHECK-OUTS WILL BE APPROVED DURING HIGH SEASON (MEMORIAL DAY THOUGH LABOR DAY) OR HOLIDAYS.
CANCELLATIONS: ONCE A RESERVATION IS MADE IT MAY NOT BE CANCELLED WITHOUT PENALTIES DESCRIBED HEREIN. Cancellations and reschedules may be made up to 30 days before the first day of your reservation. You can credit your full down payment toward a future reservation, or we will refund 75% of your down payment. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 30 days notice will result in 100% loss of all payment less any security deposit or damage waiver. This loss can be avoided if CSA Travel Protection Insurance was purchased and the reason for cancellation is covered under the travel insurance policy. All reservation changes must be acknowledged in writing.
CHANGE IN NUMBER OF GUESTS/CONDUCT OF GUESTS: Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. Unauthorized people at the property at any time will result in a double charge for each additional guest, and loss of any security deposit, in addition to any and all damage, disturbance, and cleaning charges. The rental is not intended for parties, nor gatherings at any time of anyone except those who have paid to occupy the property. Exceptions are made on an individual basis - please contact Roland Daniel Properties for prior approval. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed. Please inform us of any change in the number of guests before your arrival to avoid these charges and so the property can be prepared appropriately for your group. No exceptions or refunds are given for changes in the number of guests after your arrival.
CLEANING FEE(s): A non-refundable cleaning fee is required with all reservations. This fee is for our housekeepers who dust, vacuum, sanitize, clean linens and towels, maintain and remove refuse from the property. Guest(s) are required to follow all check out procedures detailed in this agreement and leave the property in the same general and good habitable condition it was in when the Guest(s) arrived. Undue and/or unreasonable cleaning of the property shall be charged to the Guest's/Cardholder's credit card as an Additional Cleaning Charge at a rate of up to $50/hour, with a one hour minimum. This also applies to the property exterior, grounds, BBQ grills, and pools/hot tubs (if so equipped).
LINENS & TOWELS: Bath linens, bed linens, pillows and blankets are provided. We do not provide any linens or towels for outdoor use. DO NOT take the property's linens or towels to the beach. Bring items with you that you may need for pool and hot tub use, sunbathing, and other outdoor activities. Please allow us to wash the property's linens unless you need clean linens during your stay.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By completing a reservation for this property, you are agreeing to the "terms and conditions" of the Reservation Agreement that will be emailed to you for electronic signatures after the reservation process is completed.

Great location in a very nice community. Condo is adorable and kitchen is like home.
The only 2 criticisms are that the thermostat is set too high for cooling and mattresses have seen better days. Other than that, the kitchen has all the dishes and cooking utensils necessary to cook.
Enjoyed our stay
Great location and nice unit. It is obviously an older unit so it is slightly worn, but the furnishings have been updated. There was an issue with the AC, but the management company had a tech there in less than two hours on a Saturday morning... pretty impressive. The crews were still cleaning the grounds after Irma, but it was being done discreetly and as quietly as possible. The pool was open and in good shape. All in all, a nice unit and I will book it again.

We enjoyed our stay and loved being so close to the shops in one direction and East Beach in the other. Could use some new carpet and sheets, but otherwise the price is right!

Clean and neat overall. Could use some fresh paint and some updating, otherwise everything you could need was there. Convenient location. Easy walk to the pier and shops.

Spent the first couple hours cleaning the condo. Food on the dishes in the cabinet that was baked on and grease on the cookware. The whole condo needs a good cleaning down to the baseboards. Could not do anything about the holes in the sheets. I gave two stars for the location.
We are very sorry to hear you were not happy with the condo. This is a very popular condo for our guests. We would have been happy to send our housekeeping team back to clean the condo to the standards of what we expect. Unfortunately, we did not hear from you during your stay therefore we were not aware of the problems you were having with the condo. We have decided to no longer employ the cleaning company that has been cleaning that condo after your review and they will no longer clean any properties we manage. Once again, we are very sorry to hear that you were disappointed. We hope that we can regain your trust and business in the future at this condo or at another one of our properties.
