Spa heating is always free. Pool heating is never free. Base price is for 2 guests. Each additional guest $20/night. Two dogs maximum upon approval. Each dog $20/night.

Located in the desirable and eclectic Cathedral Cove neighborhood of Cathedral City just minutes from downtown Palm Springs, Casa de Los Ladrillos (the house of brick) will hook you with it's charming desert southwestern adobe vibe, private grounds, desert landscaping, and naturalistic pool & spa. Los Ladrillos is truly a shady oasis in the desert. Just shut the gate and shut out the world. The home oozes southwestern charm. Beamed ceilings, adobe fireplaces, custom Mexican tile, entertaining kitchen with built in dining banquette & piano, patios adjacent to each room, outdoor shower, stainless high-end appliances, high quality mattresses and linens, comfortable furniture.

Master bedroom with king bed sleeps 2. Private bath. Fireplace. Faces the back garden and pool area. Flat screen TV. Covered patio veranda with fountain.

2nd bedroom with queen bed. Desk. Flat screen TV. Shares Jack-and-Jill bathroom with 3rd bedroom. Private patio off french doors.

Kitchen/Dining area is fully outfitted with everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal or just coffee and toast. The banquette seats eight. Or dine on the kitchen patio which seats four. Piano & sheet music for the pianist.

Living area features an adobe fireplace, sofa, love-seat, 56" flat-screen TV with standard cable and DVD player.

Parking for one large or two small vehicles under the carport inside the compound. Plenty of on-street parking. Driveway gate opens manually. Leave it open for convenience or close it for privacy and extra security.

Pool is bordered with flagstone and the elevated spa cascades into pool. Underwater pool seating bench by fountain. Heat the spa in minutes with a touch of a button for a relaxing end-of-day soak. Rinse off in the outdoor shower before heading inside. Ask about rates for pool heating.

Excellent restaurants in all price ranges in easy walking distance.

Check-in is 4PM & check-out is 11AM unless special arrangements are agreed on.

My husband Raul and I own and manage long term rentals. As well, we've rented out our personal residence to vacationers in the past to great success. We've decided to jump in the pool once again with Casa De Los Ladrillos. We live just five blocks away from the property and if you find anything amiss or missing we'll be on it fast. We love to personally check you in and then get out of your way so you can enjoy your vacation. I work out of my home in Telecommunications with a BS in electrical engineering. We've lived in the neighborhood for eight years and are active in the local civic and cultural scene.

This desert homestead adobe style property is an alternative to the bright, sterile party vibe of mid-century modern. The second we saw the house we knew this was the one we wanted to launch our short-term business with.

What makes this house unique

Privacy galore. Eco-friendly. 24 panels on the roof generate all the electricity you can use and more. There is an evaporative cooler which uses half the electricity of air-conditioning and it's designed to be used with windows and doors open so you don't have to feel cut off from the outside. Or turn on the central AC if you like. The Cove has no street lights and the night sky dazzles with stars. There are several dining options within walking distance or downtown Palm Springs is just 12 miles away.

Very artsy swanky Adobe, very clean and well kept. Loved the creativity in the decorations. Quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Plan to return.

Plesant Stay in Catherdral City Home

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this Southwest themed home. The location is great, near everything, but in a residential neighborhood.

We enjoyed the interior design on a southwest theme, with beautiful tiles and nice furnishings, and the outside was a great place to sit and relax. The pool was a plus, and didn't need heat to be enjoyed in April.

The landlord had stocked the refrigerator and pantry with all the necessities as well as other staples usually not found in VRBO rentals.

The landlord came over to show us how to operate the heat and air, BBQ, pool filter, and all the other things that needed explaining.

We loved our stay!

The backyard is an oasis! It was so relaxing to listen to the birds and the water fountains. Inside is all functional but could use updating, but let's be honest we pretty much lived outside while we were there! We'd definitely return!

A lovely stay!

Just sitting here on the patio of this vacation rental, considering how difficult it will be to leave in a few days! The stay started with the hosts graciously allowing an early check in, followed by a kind visit with Raul to acclimate us to the property. Carlson has been responsive through our whole booking process and stay and was very understanding and forgiving when an outdoor accessory was accidentally damaged. The kitchen, bedrooms and yard worked very well for three adults sleeping separately. Some days, we stayed in for the whole day, just enjoying the pool, spa and walks around the quiet neighborhood. Great location for drives into downtown Palm Springs as well as trips to Thermal for winter circuit equestrian shows, Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage. Thank you so much, Carlson and Raul! We plan to enjoy our final day and then return in the future!

Lovely Casa

My husband and I just spent a restful week at this lovely home. Very comfortable beds and the yard is fantastic, you can barely see the neighbors! So nice to sit in the hot tub every night. I brought slippers along because of the tile floors which were cool. We ate in for breakfast (coffee was provided as well as the basics) and lunch but not dinners. Every day we tried a different nationality and there were many choices within a five minute drive. Carlson was very accommodating and offered to let us stay in the house later due to our 5:30 pm flight. We would definitely return!

Great place and location

Great place to stay and the price was right. The location was perfect for us as we golfed every day throughout the valley. Carlson met us when we arrived the first night and did a quick walk through where we discovered the propane was out for the BBQ. It was promptly changed the next day before we returned from golfing. The back yard was private and a nice place to wind-down the day with a hot tub. The house was well stocked and comfortable. The fresh cut flowers were a nice touch. When we left the house on the final day we forgot to turn on the dishwasher so we texted Carlson from the airport and he said he would take care of it for us. Also prompt damage deposit return. We would definitely stay there again.

Check-in is 4PM and check-out is 10AM unless other times are agreed to via electronic messaging. Unscheduled late check-outs are subject to an additional day's occupancy fee.

Monthly and "almost" monthly discounts are available on a case by case basis.

Cathedral City transient occupancy tax is 12% and is included in the price. This business is licensed with the city and remits taxes monthly.

There is a full refund for cancellations made more than 60 days out. For cancellations less than 60 days out, your first payment is forfeited. After your second and final payment, which is due 15 days before check-in, only occupancy tax, cleaning/pool heat fees, and deposit are refunded. The partner web-site has their own policies regarding booking fees that we have no control over.

Pet fee $20/day. Pets are considered extra guests and should be included in the guest count.

This is a quiet residential neighborhood. While a convivial and animated BBQ or daytime pool play is fine, this is not a party house. Quite time is 10PM to 10AM. If we receive noise complaints, your deposit will be forfeited and you will be removed from the premises immediately.
