Reconnect with your food and understand the lifesaving alternatives available to everyone. Soak up and sleep in to the magic of the California Coastal Redwoods. We settled here because of the abundant water and ecology of place. Some say its "jaw-dropping" beautiful.
Rejuvenate and reenergise and join the community valuing healthy organic sustainable living.
Our stay met our needs to get away with the kids for a night. They loved exploring the property and hot-tubbing under the stars. The hosts made us feel very welcome. Thanks for everything!
We were treated to a sustainable farm tour and a delicious foods that Pam made for us. Steve shared some pretty tasty home brew as well. Having the private hot tub under the redwoods was also an incredible experience. Can't wait to return:)
The apartment is cozy, the setting is peaceful, the fire pit and the hot tub are fun additions, and the farm tour was wonderfully illuminating, but it was the big, beautiful hearts of the hosts that made this stay so very special for our family. As we left my youngest son sighed and said "I really do wish those two were my grandparents. Wouldn't that be nice?" And I thought...yes it would. Kindred spirits doing good things for our world here! Book a visit, you won't regret it.
We stayed here for two really restful days this August. What a great place Pam and Steve have set up. Large apartment with nearly everything one needs to enjoy there stay with views of the redwoods from the kitchen and porch.
Great farm breakfast by Pam and the Eco-tour Steve took us on was enjoyable and informative. Permaculture, a new concept to me is successfully practiced on this farm. No pesticides, organic and sustainable, and I am impressed.
Pam and Steve are great hosts. Great conversations, nice home brew beer, and laid back atmosphere will get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me and repeat stays in the future.
The apartment and our stay were both even better than our high expectations! Pam and Steve are welcoming and generous, and the bed is one of the best I've stayed in! The apartment is light and airy, beautifully decorated with artwork, and adorned to encourage relaxation. We took pictures to remember how well designed the space was, and totally enjoyed the super soft silk sheets. Thanks for spending time on all the special touches that made the visit over the top wonderful! We've already recommended you to friends.
Steve and Pam are wonderful hosts. Pocket Creek Farm is a beautiful location. Close to so many activities and yet secluded and quiet (well until the wildlife wakes up). Apartment is quite large and had everything needed for our stay. Hiking around the property and enjoying the bounty of the farm was wonderful. The farm breakfast was as locavore as you can get. The farm tour is great exposure to the principles of permaculture. We were there for 2 days, but 3 days would have been better. Armstrong Redwood State Park is nearby for hiking and biking. The Russian River is also very close for kayaking. Numerous wineries are in the area. Plenty of restaurants that support the local farming community are in the area (many closed mid-week). Highly recommend this stay.
We are 10 minutes from Armstrong Woods, 11 Miles from Jenner - the mouth of the Russian River. We are 20 minutes from Healdsburg and 15 minutes from Sebastapol. The area is considered a resort area and the adjacent highway is designated a "scenic" highway. Pocket Creek flows through our farm from top to bottom and is designated a Stealhead Salmon protected stream.
