About the property

Townhome, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 8

Rustic and charming, this Steamboat Springs vacation rental sits on a hill overlooking town and the ski resort, making it a perfect family rental for a winter ski getaway or for a group of friends on a summer bike trip.

Located on the bus route to the mountain, and a little over a half-mile from downtown Steamboat Springs, your well-appointed condo is a quick trip from Steamboat Springs Resort, Howelsen Hill Ski Area, and Old Town Hot Springs. Don't forget to bring your sleds - there's an excellent sledding hill right behind the condo complex!

The open floor plan allows for socializing and ample natural light streaming in from the back porch. Start a fire and cozy up in the living room nook with a book or the TV remote for cable or DVD entertainment. Stream Netflix on your personal device, or dig into the guide books and board games provided.

Head out to the porch for a cook out, or whip up a favorite meal in the full-service kitchen. All the necessities are here, including a slow cooker, a mixer, a dishwasher, and a blender.

The main level master suite has a queen bed and its own private bathroom, and there is also a sofa for extra accommodations - perfect for a family to share.

A second family or a group of kids will enjoy the basement-level den, two bedrooms, and one bathroom. One room with a queen bed and a final bedroom with two twins makes tucking the kids in easy!

This home easily sleeps eight, perfect for two small families or a medium-sized, multi-generation family. A private washer/dryer means you will have no trouble keeping everything clean, and your packing light.

Enjoy family fun at the hot springs just down the road, sledding the local hill, or skiing and riding at the nearby resorts, then refresh and do it again the next day at this Steamboat Springs vacation rental!

About Vacasa, CO - Vail/Beaver Creek Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Ideal Stramboat Location for Walkers

 • 5 of 5

Easy downhill on walking or bike path to town. At bottom of hill is beautiful Hot Springs pool with kid-friendly activities. Condo is great for families with kids who can have downstairs to help he selves. Nothing fancy, but adequate, and fun.

No Frills

 • 5 of 5

This place was perfect. No frills, but clean, plenty of space to spread out, and a BBQ on the deck. It would be quite a walk to downtown, but by car it's close.

No frills, perfect.

 • 5 of 5

This place was perfect. No frills, but the price was right. It was clean with lots of room to spread out. We BBQ'd on the deck.

Quality has really gone downhill...

 • 2 of 5

I stayed at this condo last year, but this year there was a terrible smell that lingered for a day or so and there were some steps missing in the usually cleaning process. Its not a luxury condo by any means, but you expect things like windows to at least operate. Normally these things wouldn't bump me down to 2 stars, but my email complaint Vacasa/VRBO was completely ignored. We will not be staying here again. I would suggest the similarly priced condos at the shadow run complex with better management instead of this property.

Lots of room

 • 5 of 5

It was perfect for our family of 8. Easy to get into town and to the ski area. Well appointed. A little bit of noise from the people above the unit. The snow plow people did an excellent job clearing the parking lot after the 2 ft snowfall. And with overnight temps reaching -20, it was nice and warm inside.
