Perfect apartment

  • 5 of 5

Close to the centre the Via Romana has several restaurants Near the apartment as well as a butcher and baker. The apartment is large bright and comfortable - all rooms at back of building overlooking Boboli gardens and are peaceful and quiet. Well stocked kitchen tho perhaps An electric kettle instead of hob would be better. Comfortable beds and nice showers. Good communication with Leonardo and Stefania met us at the apartment and gave us a tour. Many thanks.

Lovely apartment with a view of Neptune!

  • 5 of 5

The location is excellent with local shops and bus stops close by and only a short walk to Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio. The area has lovely small artesian shops and great antique shops, there is always something beautiful to admire. The host was very helpful and responded very quickly to any requests. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with great cooking and washing/drying facilities. The highlight was the lovely large living room windows with views of the Boboli Gardens and the glimpse of the Neptune statue. The apartment is very quiet as it situated away from the street with no traffic noise. I highly recommend this apartment and plan to stay there again on my next trip!

Fantastic stay

  • 5 of 5

Our base for almost10 weeks was this wonderful light and airy apartment. We were beautifully welcomed by Stefania who gave us tips for markets, shopping and coffee. The apartment is so well set out with the main bedroom and bathroom at one end away from the living areas and second bedroom. This was great as we had relatives with small children staying for a few days and it made things work well. The apartment looks onto the Boboli gardens so it was wonderful to open the large windows in the morning and have this view. There was no traffic noise as the apartment is at the back of the building away from the busy Via Romana. All aspects of the old city were easily accessible on foot being only 10 mins from the Ponte Vecchio. A well appointed kitchen and the essential wifi made for an excellent stay for us. When we come back to Florence we will be back here again, thanks Leonardo and Stefania

Wonderful stay on Via Romana

  • 5 of 5

We have spent the last five years staying in Florence for extended periods of time and have come to love the Oltrarno area best of all. And so we were delighted to have almost three weeks in this spacious, airy and quiet base. We know Via Romana and the surrounding area well and particularly enjoyed being close to all the shops, restaurants, bars, and historical sights while having the tranquility of this apartment. The view looks out over the Boboli Gardens, the bedrooms are quiet and comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. Being noise-sensitive, we greatly appreciated the peaceful setting.

The check-in and check-out process with Rosaria was warm and efficient--thank you! We certainly plan to stay again when we return to Florence next year.

All the charm of Florence

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is spacious, beautifully furnished, comfortable beds and baths, excellent kitchen facilities and is a prime location for all major sites. The property is quiet, near the Boboli gardens and fine restaurants. We lacked for nothing in this home away from home including an efficient Wifi connection. Leonardo and his assistants were great to work with. We would not hesitate renting from him again and again!

Great Location, Great Apartment, Great Value

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful property in a amazing location at a reasonable price! We were a bit skeptical since it didn't have any reviews before our stay, but we learned that the property was new to VRBO. We had a lot of problems booking the apartment, but it was the fault of the website, not the host. Leonardo was very patient throughout the process. The villa was very clean, modern and spacious. The kitchen was equipped with the basics making it easy to stay in and cook if we wanted. The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two showers. The hosts were waiting for us when we arrived and even threw in a bottle of Chianti - very nice touch! They also gave us some good tips on restaurants and sites in the area. We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it for a terrific stay in Firenze!
