Renovated in 2015, Apartment 2 is located on the second level of a superbly-kept mid-1800s Italianate Victorian home, and sleeps 4 people, (up to 6 for additional guest charge). Many of the original 19th century details have been preserved, and modern amenities create a peaceful balance of new and old. The apartment consists of one large bedroom with a Queen size bed, and an additional bedroom with two twin bunk beds. A beautiful living room with sleeper sofa, and renovated kitchen with new painted wood paneling, an original and restored 19th-century pantry, as well as a Viking Stove. The bathroom consists of ample shelf space, new fixtures, and a marble shower. Rentals include organic bedding and towels, filtered water, and Two Note Perfumery products, as well as coffee and tea. Use of the lush garden below is included, which features ample seating.

From the new concrete basement floor to the new roof, new windows, new plumbing and electric, HVAC system to all the new interior design, bathrooms and kitchen, there was nothing left undone. The home includes two apartments, a spacious garden, and private parking.

It's soothing environment is designed with beauty and wellness in mind. Natural products are supplied throughout the apartment. The organic cotton linens as well as organic goose-down duvets, pillows and super comfortable mattresses will ensure a healthy rest. Organic mattress included in master bedroom, organic towels in bathroom, and plush Spa robes in both bedrooms. A whole house filter-system provides clean drinking water as well as an enjoyable bath time without chlorine smell and residue.

Beautiful space right near town!
This was a beautiful apartment with a great backyard. Very close to town and Brigitte was very welcoming and kind. Would happily stay again!
This apartment was great and Brigitte is a tremendous host! We came for Thanksgiving and were able to walk everywhere (just a few blocks from the train) and eat and shop and relax. The apt has everything you need including tons of style and charm.
Perfect in every way!
My husband and I spent 4 days in this lovely apartment, and we loved every inch of it. It is beautifully styled (exactly what you see in the photos), and very comfortable, clean and bright (and it smells great, too!). The kitchen was stocked with coffee and tea, as well as a pantry full of cooking essentials. We loved the organic soaps and shower essentials--what a nice touch! The owner, Brigitte, was wonderful, too. She was very responsive and helpful with restaurant and shopping recommendations. She lives downstairs, so we were able to speak with her several times and I'm so happy to have met her. She's a gem, warm and friendly. It was our first time to Hudson, which is an awesome little town full of shops and restaurants, and her place was the icing on the cake. We wouldn't stay anywhere else and will definitely be back!

Well appointed quarters with great attention to detail
Ms. Gfeller, the owner was very helpful throughout the rental process. Her apartment is a warm and cozy place. Is also in an excellent location, near Warren Street. Looking forward to the next visit to Hudson. Nice town indeed.
Great apartment to relax
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful apartment which is furnished with a lot of taste. Beds are very comfortable, the place was very clean and had everything we needed (towels, sheets, etc). We were there for a long week-end with our 19 months old daughter and she enjoyed playing in the backyard and running up and down the hallway in the apartment. The house is well located, walking distance from the main street. We would definitely recommend this lovely place and Brigitte was very helpful.
This property was well beyond our expectations. The property was eclectic, very well appointed and extremely well kept. The outdoor garden area was a very special surprise. It was located one block away from the Hudson downtown so it was close to everything while removed from the downtown hustle and bustle. Brigitte was a gracious host and quick to help with whatever we needed during our stay.
The home is centrally located in an excellent neighborhood within Hudson, just two blocks South of Warren Street shops and restaurants. Convenient to Amtrak (5 minutes), it is a 2 hour train ride from New York City. For those with cars, the village of Rhinebeck is a 20 minute drive, as are the Catskills. The Berkshires and Great Barrington, MA are a 40 minute drive.
