About Melissa Moran

We bought this house in 2005 and loved it, we have since had 2 boys and had lots of memories in that house. We purchased land in Bozeman and built a house in Bozeman but did not want to give up this gem that we own in Livingston so we decided to Vacation rental it and let others enjoy the home and view we enjoyed for 10 years. We own a business in Livingston and love the town, it has lots of character and has been good to us.

Why Melissa Moran chose Yellowstone Country

We bought this property because of the amazing view, there is nothing like it in town and we have lots of fond memories in this house.

What makes this house unique

We fell in love with it once again because of the views.

Great house, great location

  • 5 of 5

This is my second time renting this house. House is well taken care of and well managed. Great location, secluded but not too far (5-10 minutes) from downtown Livingston with great mountain views.

I would highly recommend.

Everything as described and more!

  • 5 of 5

Seriously, the pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful home with plenty of privacy even though it sets just a few minutes from Livingston. Just an hour drive to Yellowstone National Park, this is the perfect spot to be for a couple day trips to the park (next to impossible to see it all in one day). Melissa was a great hostess and throughout the booking/ rental process was very quick to reply to any questions. As others have said, you will not be disappointed with this property.

Wonderful vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

Everything worked about this place. The owner responded quickly to any question and was flexible with our needs. The actual facility was everything that was advertised . . . and more. We had lots of space (the rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures) and the backyard playground is such a fun place for the kids to play. Everything was clean, we felt comfortable and it was easy to cook in the kitchen with all the cooking utensils provided. There are games and coloring books provided for the kids to use.

The views from the house are gorgeous and it was an easy place to drive from to get to the north end of Yellowstone Park. We visited both Mammoth Springs and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Our kids also enjoyed Sacajewa Park in Livingston.

A great place to stay!

  • 4 of 5

This home was perfect for our family of 8, with more than enough room to spread out. The homeowner had everything we needed to make for a comfortable stay. The availability of the swing set, the pool table, the stocked kitchen and washer & dryer made it easy to be away from our own home. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the snow capped mountains and the rising and setting of the sun each day from the comfort of the family room and kitchen! The location of the home is also convenient to everything in Livingston. We would recommend this place to our family and friends.

Absolutley Gorgeous

  • 5 of 5

This large home was perfect for my wife, our five kids and me. The views were phenomenal, making it the perfect winter getaway for us. The house was well appointed, comfortable, and peaceful. The playground was fantastic, so good we spent little time at the public playgrounds. We will definitely be returning.

The community of Livingston is quiet and friendly, save the gusty winds. Some of our favorite local restaurants... Coffee: Park Place; Breakfast: Northern Beanery; Lunch and Dinner: Montana Rib and Chop House, Bar: Katabatic Brewery. Of course, Yellowstone National Park is a great day trip, and their is plenty to do in Bozeman, not to mention all the year-round outdoor adventure to be had throughout the area.

Great place to stay in some beautiful country!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this house to ring in the new year! It was spic and span upon arrival and felt very welcoming. The owner answered all questions I had in a very prompt manner. We had a great time using the pool table which can be converted into a ping pong table as well. Great views from the house, on a nice chunk of property for privacy with a nice yard to play in. There was plenty of parking for all the guests we had stay with us. Great house for a reasonable price- we would stay again in a heartbeat! Short drive to downtown livingston- which is a great place to hang out, great bars/breweries, lots of cool shops and great restaurants. 45 minutes to chico hot springs, maybe 1.25-1.5 hours to Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park. We had so much fun playing games/cooking and hanging out at the house we didn't leave very much! We would highly recommend staying here!
