Fantastic hospitality for an island get away

Our stay here could not have been better. Joana and her father's hospitality were fantastic. They are very welcoming hosts who made us feel at home immediately. This a great spot to relax and from which to explore Pico. Amenities are excellent and you are very close to a local "natural swimming pool" and ocean side "pub". Pico is a large island with a lot to see and do so if you are staying here I would recommend a rental car. Thank you Joana and Francisco for a wonderful stay!

Bonne qualité et bon emplacement mais prix un peu élevé par rapport au mobilier extérieur notamment.

La maison est en très bon état et bien entretenu. Elle est bien placée par rapport à la possibilité de baignade à proximité et au niveau de la géographie de l'île pour les visiteurs. Proche de Lajes, si vous avez une voiture, où se trouvent de très bons restaurants et les tours en mer pour voir les baleines (Talassa). Dommage que la vue sur la propriété juste en dessous ne soit pas un peu mieux privatisée, la palissade en verre n'était pas une nécessité. Des chaises relaxes, ou des transats à l'extérieur et un vrai grand parasol (ou un avant-toit) auraient été appréciés. Il y a bien le mobilier pour manger sur la grande terrasse avec un parasol sur roulettes pour suivre le soleil, mais avec vue sur les voisins juste en dessous, et pas de possibilité de s'installer confortablement pour bouquiner ou écouter de la musique en regardant la mer. La climatisation est très appréciée les jours de grande chaleur.

Excellent Stay @ Pico island - Recommended

We had a fabulous (long) stay with our family in this new and very nice house. As for the accomodation: it has a modern look and feel and is just large enough. All the equipment is fully ok and available and there are 2 separate showers and bathrooms. This may come in handy as the location is so close to the sea that you can walk with your towels to the swimming area and take a dive in the Atlantic Ocean. Pico is definitely one of the island to discover for people who like nature, volcano's and sea. On top I want to let the readers know that Joanna Paolo and her peers were so kind and helpful for any question. Definitely recommend.
