Peaceful snowboarding retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was incredibly charming and cozy. Everything we needed was provided, except for a lighter or matches to start a fire. Maybe we didn't look hard enough? It snowed all weekend up at Baker and coming back to a warm fire and the hot tub (adorned with Christmas lights) made it a weekend to remember❄️

so much fun

  • 4 of 5

We felt right at home in this playfully and artfully constructed and decorated chalet. We appreciated all the fun the owners must have had putting it together. It was a great base for a few days of adventure in the mountains: a lovely drive up to Baker for hikes with lots of stops along the way. In terms of practicalities--everything works great, the photos are very accurate. We'd love to return in the winter and the following summer, every season would be fun at this place!

Cute, comfy, perfect

  • 4 of 5

Super comfy king bed with seemingly recently new memory foam mattress. Parents and brother were in another property right across the street, with three bedrooms but the mattresses there were vastly inferior to ours. Three cuckoo clocks and other charming knickknacks! Has everything for such a small cabin, including an outdoor hot tub. WiFi available in the clubhouse, not on site, clearly stated in the property description.

Very charming

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. It was a 3 night getaway for our anniversary. The little community of homes is very charming and QUIET. There's a bar and grill on the other side of the highway that has a lovely outdoor area. Dogs are welcome too! We found our way to the trail located at the far end of the community. It pretty much runs along the river there, but it can be a challenge finding the paths that actually lead to the water. We eventually found one. The community itself was very nice with a lot of amenities (pool, tennis courts, play area, mini lake, huge lawn for activities) that we didn't take advantage of, but others definitely did. The house itself was definitely funky. Very imaginative decorating :) Loved the fishing lure chandelier and the 'glacier' fireplace with little arctic animals. We ended up connecting our laptop to the TV and watched a bit of downloaded videos. Didn't take advantage of the hot tub, but did use the outside firepit. That was lovely. I left a couple recommendations for the owners; nothing life shattering. All-in-all a very nice time here. Thank you!

Hot tub, wood burning stove, enough said.

  • 4 of 5

Lovely 3 day stay in snow covered mt baker area at snow line. Well equipped lovely little cabin that accommodated a romantic weekend away and dog friendly to boot. The decor was a little busy and hunter-esque for my taste but a minor detractor. I was also a bits shocked at how crowded the cabins were atop one another. But without wifi or cell service, and hit tub, wood burning stove, we felt into the wild as hoped. The Nanook trail in the compound was a total find.

Owner's Response: Hi There: Thank you for your review! Cabin #73 is a bit eclectic...after all, where else would you find a crystal chandelier accentuated by fishing lures! We're glad that you enjoyed your stay in this cabin-in-the-woods. I also wanted to comment on how well you left the property upon departure. Your courtesy made cleaning a snap...thank you so much for this! We certainly welcome your return visits!
