The house is situated in the heart of medieval Arcola, a pretty village ideally situated for exploring the local area and
beyond, with the seaside resorts of Lerici and San Terenzo Within easy reach (10 minutes by car). The charming nearby
town of Sarzana is 5km away, and the larger town of La Spezia 8km to the north-west. The 5 beautiful villages of the
Cinque Terre are easily accessible by train, either from Arcola, Sarzana or La Spezia stations. Tuscany is a stone's
throw away, with the beaches of the Versilia, Pisa, Lucca and Florence are all Within easy reach for a day trip.
The house itself comprises a large open plan living / dining area with a small kitchen at one end and with gas burners
an electric oven, fridge-freezer and a washing machine. The house has just been lovingly restored to a high standard
and all appliances are new. There are two double bedrooms on the same floor with brand new comfortable
mattresses. The main bedroom window looks out on to the Magra valley, and beyond to the Apuan Alps of Tuscany.
A steep staircase leads to the next floor where there is an intimate relaxing area with two sofas, the bathroom with
shower and a small bedroom with a futon Which could host a guest Further if necessary.
NB. Due to the stairs in the house, And Also the location Within the village itself, the house is not suitable for people
with mobility problems. The village is a traffic free area, two to its very nature (narrow and winding little streets)
Which will allow a peaceful stay, surrounded by clean air.
Cars can be parked near to the main square of the village, where there is a bar / pizzeria, a general store, a
greengrocer's and a tobaccanist's.
