Small but well organized andclean
Good....Barring bad weather
A perfect place to stay
Beautiful, very clean, small suite located in a nice neighbourhood. Host Irene was a pleasure, contacting us during our stay and invited us to let her know if we needed anything. It is a really cute new suite, equipped with a full kitchen and even a new washer/dryer. Modern bathroom, beautiful shower. There are also trails nearby. We enjoyed staying here for the week while we visited our son and his family. We'll be back! Thank you Irene!
Great find in B.C.
If you want to be near Vancouver but not in the city, Irene's studio is ideal. The bed is comfortable, the space is well-equipped (especially the kitchen!), and anything you could need during your stay (grocery and drug stores, restaurants, etc.) is nearby.
We stayed only two days (three nights) but packed in a lot. Irene's house backs up to a large, beautiful, forested park, and having hiking trails right outside our door was definitely a highlight of the visit. Taking the Sky Train to Vancouver for a day trip was easy, inexpensive and convenient (we rented bikes and cycled around Stanley Park -- wow! -- and enjoyed a great dinner based on recommendations from one of the wonderful concierges at the Fairmont hotel -- if you're not sure what to do/where to go, they are friendly fonts of information). We spent one day at Lynn Canyon Park, a short drive away. It's too beautiful to be described and offers a free-of-charge suspension bridge experience, unlike the better-known Capilano Suspension Bridge Park (which we were told used to be free but is now a spendy experience). Port Moody (also a short drive from Irene's place) is a lovely spot for an outdoor dinner and boasts an amazing Italian bakery.
Irene is a friendly, very thoughtful host who checked in with us to make sure we had settled in well but otherwise left us to our own devices. It's nice to stay in a space that feels very private but where you know the host is available should you need something. We would stay here again! Thanks!
Wouldn't change a thing!
Everything at this stay was fantastic! From the comfortable bed to the nice relaxing shower. We had everything we needed for our stay, and the convenience of the washer and dryer helped out a lot! Host checked up on us with a text every now and then to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything, even when we were stuck in traffic and arrived much later than expected the first day, they got in contact with us to make sure we were ok! I would definitely recommend this location to stay at, and would highly consider staying here again!
The suite was small but beautifully constructed. Exactly what was needed. Irene was kind and lovely when needed and went the extra mile to set out some chairs in the yard in the event we would like to enjoy the sun. Beautiful neighbourhood with hiking trails next door. Brilliant.
Property is as described. Immaculate. You need to take the taxi or bus to get there from Skytrain station with luggage. It is a 40 min walk downhill to Skytrain station.
