LOWER GROUND FLOOR

Ideal for those who don't want to climb lots of stairs. There is a double bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite shower room. One of the comfortable sitting rooms is located on this floor with a TV and DVD player, and doors leading out into the garden. A separate utility room can also be found on the lower ground floor with washing machine and separate dryer.

RAISED GROUND FLOOR

Up a few steps and we find the main entrance hall of this elegant townhouse. The dining room, which seats 8, leads straight into the attractive, spacious and well equipped family kitchen. From here you can look out onto the private garden through the stunning vaulted windows.

FIRST FLOOR

On this floor you come to the second reception room in Ledbury House. A bright, colourful, dual aspect room with a study, a grand fireplace and beautiful paintings.

SECOND FLOOR

Luxurious and spacious master bedroom, with king size double bed and ensuite bathroom with bath, separate shower enclosure and twin wash-basins.

THIRD FLOOR

There are two bedrooms and bathroom on this level. The bathroom has a bath with a shower inside. One bedroom has a single bed with a pull-out bed underneath. The other has two single beds.

The overriding feeling you get at Ledbury House is one of space, light and privacy, and you just need to step out of the door and walk along the street to find yourself in the heart of lively Notting Hill and vibrant Portobello Road market.

Beautiful property in a quiet location heart of notting hill

We had a wonderful stay at Harriet's flat in Notting Hill!

The location can't be beat--walking distance to boutiques/cafes and portobello market

All was clean and orderly upon arrival. The house was beautifully appointed with eclectic furnishings and was fully equipped with all of the supplies you could wish for. We found a beautiful

Welcome basket with goodies, starter kit of milk, butter etc in fridge when we arrived --a very lovely and thoughtful touch.

Harriet was a pleasure to deal with. She met us on arrival and was easily accessible and reasonable with any issue that came up during our stay.

We highly recommend this property!!

The Ledbury

Notting Hill Gate is home to the famous Portobello road market, and Notting Hill Carnival held in August. It is a lively, trendy area with lots to do and see, and also a very attractive and very expensive residential area. Only 20 minutes by tube to Piccadilly Circus.

This central London location is full of boutiques and independently run shops and restaurants. Its cinema clubs, The Electric, The Gate and the Coronet, have over a hundred years of history, and show non blockbuster films and foreign movies. Try The Tabernacle for fringe Concerts, Exhibitions and Theatre or The Elgin for live music by up and coming, breakthrough artists.

Elegant Holland Park is right next door, with its outdoor summer theatre, tennis courts and gardens full of peacocks and rabbits, is a great way to walk or cycle to High Street Kensington. Julie’s Wine bar is such a pretty restaurant/bar and well worth the walk off the beaten path.

Transport Links

Notting Hill Gate is served by several underground station lines - the Central, District and Circle lines with direct transport links right across central London. The bus service is also excellent – from Notting Hill Gate the bus goes on a straight road to Oxford Street - and there are lots of Boris bikes if you prefer to cycle.

Local Shopping

Portobello Market – Famous antiques market where you can also find extensive vintage, boutique and designer shopping. Saturday is the most popular day to visit when all the bric-a-brac markets are open. Try ‘One of a Kind’ for vintage finds you won’t see anyone else wearing.

Ledbury road and Westbourne Grove – Just off Portobello road you enter a different world of luxury boutique shopping, delicious delis and stylish coffee shops and restaurants.

Local Eating-out

The Churchill Arms – located on Kensington Church Street, a traditional pub, which used to be frequented by Winston Churchill. An impressive exterior covered with flowers you are sure not to miss it.

Saporitalia – Charming restaurant nestled in the heart of Portobello Road. It sticks to the classics, but takes many of them to new levels with superb Italian ingredients and an authentic wood-fired oven.

The Ledbury - This restaurant has gained many accolades including the much coveted second Michelin Star.
