About Will Harvey
Born and raised in the Village of Baddeck, I've been able to experience first hand the beauty that it has to offer. After graduating high-school and moving away a person realizes how special their hometown truly is, and this is no different for me, Cape Breton truly is my favourite place to be in the spring, summer, and fall.
Will Harvey purchased this Cottage in 2014
Why Will Harvey chose Baddeck
My hope was to own a piece of Cape Breton that I could truly call my own. This property allowed me to do that. With significant work and investment I am very pleased with the final result. The home has come a long way and is ready to be enjoyed.

Lovely vacation home
We stayed for a week and couldn't want for more..everything we needed was there even coffee pods!
Very spacious..comfy.. the kitchen at home.
The washer and dryer waa an added bonus.
Great location..walk to the lake.
Be sure to try Tom's pizza just on the main St...mins away.
We had a fabulous vacation!
Very nice spot with more room that expected
Great property, house was very clean and had everything we required. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again!
Charming Little House in Baddeck
The layout of the house is very efficient and the kitchen well stocked with essential cooking tools. Will Harvey, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating. Equally important is that Baddeck is a great little village and well located for access to Cape Breton. A couple of things to note: there is only one local grocery store so make sure you know their hours as the next closest one is many kilometers away. If you are highly sensitive to pet dander or odors, then this place may not be for you. It is a pet friendly home, which is wonderful for those traveling with their furry friends. Bottom line: we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this vacation rental!
Favourite Stay In Cape Breton
The owner was very nice and professional . Very clean spot, would recommend to anyone. A very short walk to Main Street and the waterfront. It was my favourite stay in Cape Breton so far!!
Great Place to Stay in Baddeck
Stayed for a week in Sept 2016. The house was very cozy and walking distance to downtown. Baddeck is a good location to stay while touring Cape Breton.
I spent the month of August at this cottage. The cottage is well cared for and very well equipped. Kitchen was similar to my kitchen at home with modern appliances, Bed was very comfortable. Everything worked well even the Wi-Fi and the flat screen cable TV. Neighbors were nice and they were quiet. The village of Baddeck is clean and comfortable for walking but it is also hilly. The village is centrally located in Cape Breton. Most attractions are within an 1 1/2 hour drive. The cottage is 3 blocks from the main street but sidewalks are not always present. I would recommend the Yellow Cello as a great stop for lunch or dinner. The have a nice sun deck and do try their Lobster roll (yummy) Baddeck is also home for the Alexander Graham Bell museum which was very interesting.
All in all, I would do this again in a heartbeat.
