The Residences at the Beach Club are on the same property as the 5 star Beach Club Resort on one of Canada's best beaches. There are acres of sand with 1 Km. to water's edge at low tide, warm tide pools for toddlers' to paddle, skim boarding and a nearby windsurfing and paddle board school and rentals. The condo offers 1200 square feet of luxury living. There are queens bed in both the ocean view bedroom and the interior family room, a four piece bathroom, HDTV with basic cable and DVD. WiFi is provided. A 250 sq ft. panoramic ocean view balcony spans front and has a BBQ, sitting area and dining table for a maximum of 8. Living room provides ample seating with 3 recliners, a gas fireplace and a Bose Bluetooth Acoustic Wave audio system. The laundry room is in the suite with both Washer/Dryer and a large sink. Access to the building's swimming pool, hot tub & gym is included.1 secure underground parking stall with additional street parking nearby (On Morison street at McMillan St.) Additional floor-level (air mattresses) beds at no charge are available if needed. One small dog is allowed. (Please provide a photo.) No cats. No smoking. The building is immediately adjacent to a kilometer long seaside boardwalk, community park with a large playground for children while being close to city center, restaurants, shops, etc. The Beach Club Resort offers a fine dining restaurant, spa and meeting rooms. The Owners provide an information binder with lots of local knowledge about nature walks, hiking and activities. Exploring the east coast of the island includes quiet and quaint local coves and marinas while the Cowichan valley is famous for its wineries. Parksville is situated on the turnoff to the west coast of Vancouver Island which is famous for Long Beach stretching between Tofino and Uclulet, surfing, and whale watching. Victoria is a 2.5 hour drive south where sightseeing can include tea at the Empress hotel, Craigdarroch castle and Butchart Gardens in addition to the world class provincial museum. My grandfather arrived in parksville in 1900, my mother was born and still lives there. I was delighted to acquire one of the premier suites at the Beach Club Residences overlooking the beach where I spent childhood summers. I'm delighted to share this home and, idyll with you.

Breathtaking View

The photos really don't do the view justice. The moment you walk in your eyes go immediately to the windows. Our kids (14 and 9) loved the location and the beach. It's very convenient and you can get to Cathedral Grove, the Horne Lake Caves, Qualicum Beach, Coombs, and a bunch of other sites in 30 minutes or less.

This home met all our expectations. Clean, modern, well maintained and well equipped.

Home away from home in beautiful Parksville

We spent a week at this lovely condo in Parksville. It was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view from the patio was amazing! A quick ride down the elevator and a few steps takes you to an amazing beach and boardwalk where we enjoyed several walks. It is centrally located in Parksville which allows easy access to local amenities, but also to other nearby communities (Coombs, Qualicum and Nanaimo). The owners were lovely and great to deal with. Would highly recommend!!

Amazing place. Beautiful Ocean view!

When we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly face, a beautiful view, and two homemade cinnamon buns. The property was absolutely amazing, with a big balcony that overlooked the ocean. We loved being able to wake up to that view every morning and sit out on the comfortable patio furniture to watch the sun set. To get to the ocean takes less than a minute. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The suite also had very comfortable bed, laundry room in suite. And the renters were very accommodating on departure. Forgot a beach chair? They provided that too.

Great stay in Parksville

This is a very nice condo that is exactly as described. The views are incredible, it is perfectly situated, and the building and property are high end. Having secure underground parking and a pool that we used every day were nice bonuses.

I will say, just to cover both sides, there were some minor negatives. Both the check in and check out were a little clunky as arrangements had to made made both times to meet people in suite. Just something we were not used to doing. Some of the furnishings weren't to our taste, the couch wasn't terribly comfortatble, the doors and floors creaked, and the second bedroom was rather bland. But I would emphasize, these were all minor points against what is a very nice modern condo. And had we not be paying close to $300 a night would never be mentioned.

Overal though, this is a very nice building and the view is worth the price of admission. Parksville is great for young families and this condo is central to everything. I might try somewhere else next time, just for variety, but would not hesitate in recommending this place one bit.
