Our family was attracted to the property for the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and the activities both summer and winter that the area has to offer.
Peaceful setting nestled within the majestic rocky mountains along the banks of the Bow River.
The room was located in a good location. And enjoined the access to the hot tub. But, the room wasn't clean. We end up with scrubbing poo stain in the toilet bowl, main bed sheets had stain, so, end up with washing them, and vacuuming all of the room. We went there for Christmas vacation to relax. End up with more work than being at home. It was disappointing. You need new cover for the master bed. It is old.
This place was great! The apartment, the resort and the location were all perfect for our needs. Good access to more hikes that I can count. VERY close to canmore- staying just outside was no issue for us as you have to drive most places in the rockies anyway and a cab from canmore is not much if you indulge a little too much.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that the bath tub was not clean and there were dirty washcloths in it. We did not contact the owner over this issue as it seemed easy for us to deal with ourselves-however, I could see it being a bigger issue fo other bookers. I'm sure if we would have contacted the owners they would have been happy to fix it, they were incredibly easy to deal with.
This was a fantastically clean, comfortable, well furnished, modern and centrally located condo. We felt lucky to have such a nice place to come home to at night. The hot tub was directly out the back door; the kitchen had every implement imaginable for us to cook dinner; and the place was spotless. The owners were super helpful when we arrived in Banff without directions to the condo (certainly through no fault of theirs! I couldn't get my phone to download directions - should have verified that before I left the US); they answered my phone call immediately and made certain I didn't hang up until I had all the information I needed. Very gracious and helpful. They made us feel like the condo was ours. We hope to come back in winter!
We enjoyed our stay at this condominium at Deadman's flats. The owner was pleasant to deal with and supplied access information well in advance. The condo was clean and comfortable. The second bedroom with the bunk beds is a little small and has no windows but my children didn't seem to mind. Deadman's flats is about 15 minutes outside of Canmore by driving where many of the restaurants and shops are located. Deadman's flats is a little quiet with little shopping or restaurants so one would probably want to drive into Canmore. The price that we rented the condominium for was very reasonable when compared to other Condominiums located in Canmore.
We loved the condo which was beautifully decorated to our taste and well stocked with kitchen utensils, games for adults and children, DVDs, CDs and books for all ages. Well stocked with extra blankets, towels and linens. The directions provided us were detailed and easy to follow. We had no problems finding the condo and gaining access. The condo was immaculate and very well maintained. Our only criticism with our stay is that the WIFI is very slow and we found this s bit frustrating. The pool and hot tub are very convenient to the room. Copperstone Resort is not a large complex, is nice sized and is well maintained with nice landscaping. The underground parkade was easily accessed and convenient to the room. We found the owners to be very responsive and would respond very quickly to our emails. Dead Man's Flat is just down the road from Canmore and we used it as our base for exploring Banff National Park. The complimentary park pass was a nice touch. We would recommend this property to couples and families. We were quite pleased with our stay here.
This location met all of our expectations and more. The condo is located close to all the sights but still away from all the hussle and bustle (less than 10mins from Canmore, appx 25mins to Banff and 50mins to Lake Louise.) The park pass was a huge bonus.
Our family had just moved to Alberta from Ontario and wanted to see what western Canada had to offer. The condo was perfect for our young family. It almost felt like home. It allowed us to prepare meals and relax after a busy day of sight seeing. We did not use it, but I can see how the condo backing on to the hot tub and BBQ area would be an even more of a bonus.
We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone and come back again.
