The condo, location and beach completely surpassed our expectations! The condo is clean, streamlined and offered everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Every morning I enjoyed waking up slowing with a cup of coffee on the balcony while taking in the ocean views. My family of four (including two teenagers) had plenty of space to be together or do our own thing.
The ocean is maybe 150 yards away from the backdoor. It was pleasant and never crowded. We spent every single day there in the water.
On nights that we decided to eat out, we had our choice of wonderful Cuban fare, Italian, Pizza, Burgers, Tacos, Thai, you name it, all within 7 blocks walking distance. The grocery store is only 3 blocks away. Being a city person, I loved having the best of the quiet calm ocean in the back and the amenities of city life in front.
The condo staff is friendly and accommodating. The owner is extremely hospitable and an excellent communicator. He is very customer focused and is incredibly responsive even to the simplest of questions.
I would move into this property in a heart beat! But, we'll just have to settle with renting it again. The next time we are in Hollywood Beach, this will definitely be our "go to" place. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!!!! (I'm jealous)
This property was modern and comfortable. It served it's purpose. I was not happy with the road noise. I would have liked to keep the patio door open more, but the street noise was way too loud. It is in a very busy part of the street close to an intersection. The air conditioning was also very loud and would wake us up at night. Unfortunately one of the elevators was not working which made coming and going quite a process with all the people traffic in the building. When we arrived, there was not one roll or partially used roll of toilet paper or tissues to be found....not good if you're a female. We had to go out immediately to buy supplies. Apparently the cable company entered the premises without our knowledge. We were never notified, but I noticed things around the TV were moved and they never hooked back up the cable. If we didn't figure it out ourselves, the landlord wouldn't have been able to come to fix it until noon the next day. This made me feel uneasy and a little violated. There were toe nail clippings all over the lanai which tracked through the apartment . That was really gross. This rental could use a new sofa and newer towels and linens. An extra TV in the bedroom would have been much enjoyed. The pool area is nice, but the taller buildings around it blocks out the warm sun for most of the day. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have the beach chairs in the closet. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at "The Bakery" and had fun further north, up the road at the public park where we rented bikes for the day at a very affordable price.
The staff was wonderful! The "ocean view"was limited. The beach was no where near as nice as neighboring condos. The fully stocked kitchen wasn't fully stocked and the air conditioner was so loud it woke me up regularly. On a more positive note, the owner let us check in early.
My sister and I stayed for 5 days, 4 nights. Check in and out were both extremely easy. And the owner was very accommodating with arrival and departing times. Owner was always reachable and polite; speaks fluent English.
The condo is as pictured/described and was very clean. Condo is very large w plenty of space; and, the half bath is super convenient. The balcony was truly amazing; the pictures don't do it justice. I found it very relaxing to sit out there and really enjoyed the views. Kitchen was fully stock with all kinds of equipment. There is only one TV, but I was able to watch shows on my phone. Also the condo's TV does have streaming thru Roku w Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Walmart, Convenience and liquor stores plus many restaurants are within walking distance. We would recommend Tony's Pizza Chef and the Enjoy Cafe for a quick delicious bite near by.
There is easy access to the beach just a short walk - 3 min from door to sand; super close. The boardwalk was nearby too (maybe 30 min walk or 3 min drive) and the Hollywood Trolley had stops near by also. Public bus also picks up near by.
We would highly recommend.
We traveled from MI. We had a great time. The owner was very prompt w. Responses and nice! The apartment was very clean and accomadating. We had plenty of room. The location was perfect!
Condo was exactly as advertised. Very clean and well appointed. Check-in and out was incredibly simple.
Bedroom was very large and the bed was very comfortable. I traveled with my teenage son and his friend - plenty of room for them to crash on the couch and futon. Having the extra half bath was a plus since the full bath was in the bedroom.
Pool was never too crowded and access to the beach was nearby. The beach chairs included with the condo were perfect!
There is a 7-eleven across the road which was handy for quick needs, and the Walmart was just across the drawbridge and within walking distance.
I highly recommend this place if you are looking in the Hollywood/Hallandale beach area.
