Wonderful house – we had a blast.

  • 5 of 5

Thank you, the house was wonderful - so much room. It was equipped very well. We needed nothing. We saw deer every day, and saw rams one day. There was plenty of room for sleeping, and lounging around for all of us. This was the best cabin we have stayed in yet after four years of visiting Colorado. Thank you.

The cabin is nestled in the mountains and right up the road from Mt. Princeton Spa and Hot Springs. The house has so much history and a most hospitable next door neighbor, Craig. We took walks in the mornings, gazed at the crisp star filled sky at night, visited St. Elmo Ghost town, and drove an hour and half away to the Sand Dunes. The cabin is charming and clean. It is definitely on our list for all four seasons. Highly recommend it! Thanks Tony for allowing us to discover a new part of Colorado.

Fantastic family and friend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

The house is so spacious! We had everything we needed for making all of our meals and a fully stocked kitchen. There was plenty of space for the eight adults and six kids to spread out and plenty of sleeping options. We couldn't find a fooseball for the table and Tony had his caretaker friend deliver one! We loved the area and saw so many deer and a small herd of bighorn sheep. We skied two days at Monarch mountain which took us less than 40 minutes to get there. The porches were so nice to hang out on in the sunshine, we really couldn't have asked for a nicer place. Thank you Tony!

Everything we hoped for and more

  • 5 of 5

We loved it there was 11 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us. We snowmobiled at Monarch, we tubed at Leadville, went to Mt Princeton Hot Springs which is just down the road from the cabin, then we went skiing at Monarch before heading home. We hated to leave but the cabin was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. We're already planning our next trip. We would highly recommend this cabin

Perfectly apportioned living space for our family of six. Stunning views-wilderness at your window.

  • 5 of 5

Our favorite VRBO yet. We've been to the same area four times and this cabin in the woods lands it. We loved the feeling of being off the beaten path, yet town was easily accessible when we needed it. Be prepared for a visit from the wild side. The kids sat with binoculars at the window, watching coyote and waiting for the Bighorn sheep that frequent the nature reserve next door. We skied three days at Monarch Mountain, only forty minutes away...great snow, great instruction, all slopes feed to one lodge, so my younger kids could ski independently and not get lost. Princeton Hot Springs are literally minutes away from Bighorn, a nice place to soak after a day on the slopes. We loved Bighorn and would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting a family-sized mountain get away. My kids are chanting "five stars!"

Beautiful home in an idyllic spot!

  • 5 of 5

One of our best Thanksgivings ever! House is extremely comfortable and functional. Spacious rooms, bathrooms and great layout. Picturesque location. Kids loved hanging out in the loft playing foosball. Highly reccomend a trip to St. Elmo's (ghost town up the road) and a visit to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. We will definitely be back!
