The apartment is newly renovated and has 3 bedrooms (2 with double bed), living room, 2 bathrooms and a separate and fully equipped kitchen. TV features.

Gran Via Metro public transport just 1 minute, Sol train just 5 minutes. Tourist bus stop just 2 min. on Gran Via.

Fuencarral is a restricted traffic and full of shops that make shopping and trendy bars to eat or a drink street.

Malasaña is the newest and coolest neighborhood in Madrid, with the best shopping and finest restaurants.

This area Madrid has had different names throughout its history. The real name is Maravillas district. However, since 1980 it is known as Malasaña, which is actually the name of one of its streets.

It is close to Chueca and difficult to know sometimes which of these two areas are.

It is a lively district, some historians compare it to the East Village in NY or London Camden Town.

You can walk everywhere and you are in the center of Madrid and close to all the attractions. But if you need to take public transport you have the metro stop Gran Vía (L1 and L5) at 1 min and numerous day and night buses that pass through the Gran Via to take you to the place you want.

The house is in a very special street as sometimes remember you are in small town for its familiarity but we are in the heart!

On this street are the famous Horno de San Onofre, Madrid pastry reference and the Austrian Café-Restaurant, frequented by people from the neighborhood life and the new Hipsters.

Nice Apartment, difficult to get information

The apartment was very nice and clean. It is in a very good location for getting around. However, it was difficult to reach the host for information regarding getting the keys, that information was not provided ahead of time, my emails were not answered. I had to call several times to make arrangements.

We were disappointed in this property

Firstly, this apartment is purported to be 3 bedrooms. The third 'bedroom' is extremely small more like a large closet. The bed is a pull out chair that is very uncomfortable for an adult. Our adult children had to sleep on the couch instead. Also, the apartment was lacking certain basic amenities such as dish towels, pot holders and clothes pins to hang out laundry. We never met the owner or had any contact with him. The agency who represented the owner was not very responsive to our concerns and did not always answer emails or phone calls. Also their English is quite limited.

On the positive side, the apartment is in a wonderful location with easy access to major sites and the metro. The two main bedrooms were comfortable. The apartment is quite modern as far as the bathrooms and kitchen are concerned.

I would say that for 4 people it is comfortable or perhaps if the 5th person is a young child. The owner needs to add some of the things that are lacking and be more responsive and visible to his clients.

Maybe was the confussion doing the booking and telling you that if you were 5, and not 2, as your reservation showed, you had to pay for the rest of occupants, that's talking for you, but we showed, we talked, and taht's why I can't understand your review. Sencillo y céntrico

En general la valoración es positiva. La zona inmejorable ya que está totalmente céntrico.

Como comentarios negativos señalar que en el inventario que se especificaba en la web aparecía un microondas que no estaba y que tuvimos que reclamar (el segundo día de estancia nos facilitaron uno).

El agua caliente era insuficiente para todas las personas que nos alojábamos teniéndonos que duchar por turnos de mañana y de noche.

Cuando llegamos al apartamento la limpieza brillaba por su ausencia, había polvo por debajo de todos los muebles y camas y los muebles de la cocina estaban bastante pegajosos.

Señalar también que nos llevamos una sorpresa cuando abrimos armarios y cajones de los muebles y encontramos ropa de cama y toallas que no parecían estar del todo limpias y estaban enrolladas de mala manera.

En general la estancia fue agradable y muy cómoda salvando los detalles anteriores.
