Farnaz was an excellent host, always accessible quickly within a reasonable period of time. Her helpful instructions were pretty clear. She checked in a couple times to ensure we were satisfied and comfortable, and tried her best to accommodate our request for an extended stay. The unit pretty much had all the conveniences needed to make us feel right at home. The neighborhood was outstanding with very convenient access to the SkyTrain, market, shops, etc. Our stay in the unit definitely added to the magic that is Vancouver in September!

Beautiful apartment in great location

Farnaz's apartment is spacious and well designed. I stayed for 3 nights, visiting friends here in Vanvouver. From her prompt and informative responses to my pre-booking enquiries, to her in-person greeting on arrival, to her generous extension of my departure time, Farnaz was professional, helpful and kind - available if needed throughout my stay. The neighbourhood is very safe, pretty, quiet and a 3 minute walk from shops, bars, restaurants and a range of transport to take you around the city. I walked a lot which was fantastic. Do go down to the sea wall and take in Stanley Park, take a sea ferry, watch & hear the distinctive sound of the seaplanes taking off and landing, browse the eclectic mix of shops.

Places I loved -

Cardero's at Coal Harbour Quay (great ambiance, live music, yummy food, open fire)

Fluevog in Gastown - handmade designer shoes to die for (reasonably priced, quirky, fun, uber comfortable)

The A-amaze-ing Laughter sculpture in Morton Park by English Bay - as the inscription there says ""May this sculpture inspire laughter, playfulness and joy in all who experience it". You cannot help but smile and feel great just by seeing it

Granville Island Market - lovely indoor market, artisan craft stores and great cafes - great for browsing and relaxing

Stanley Park - stunning Park with miles of sea wall to walk or cycle round - spectacular views of beaches, the water, maritime activity, the mountains and the city itself

The Flying Pig in Gastown - happy hour, buzzy atmosphere, great food

Cozy property, cute area

This property was great. It was very clean, very well stocked, and a super easy short walk to most things downtown. We had six people staying there, and which meant three people had to stay on air mattresses, but Farnaz even provided these, and everyone slept just fine. The apartment is small, but very doable even for big groups if everyone is ok with being in close quarters. One thing to keep in mind is that the apartment is in a building that people have to be buzzed into if they don't have keys, and the buzzer doesn't always work so coordination is key, especially if like us, your phones don't work in Canada :P Overall, we were all very happy with this property and Farnaz was incredibly helpful and responsive, and I would definitely recommend it to other people.

Close to everything

The neighborhood is very walkable with so many amenities that can be reached within 5-10 minutes on foot. The apartment is well maintained, well stocked, and clean. We would definitely stay there again.

Unbeatable Location!

A wonderful 2 weeks spent in Farnaz's condo! Farnaz made my arrival smooth and easy, gave me a full tour of the building and provided me with the most extensive resources booklet I have ever received at an VRBO listing. The condo is exactly as described and has all amenities one could need while attending a conference: a kitchen with the basic necessities, lovely washroom, clothes washer/dryer/iron & iron board, and great WiFi! My fellow conference attendee attested to the comfort of the bed, and I found the futon surprisingly comfortable for sleeping as well! The condo is located a mere 10-minute walk (or five minute run, as I found out one day) from the Vancouver Convention Centre, and is in the middle of many wonderful restaurants and very nearby transit. Farnaz was available at a moment's notice. I would gladly visit and stay with Farnaz again when I am next in Vancouver!
