The Old Northeast St. Petersburg is the nicest neighborhood in Florida! Beautiful old homes with lots of trees and lots to see.
Walking distance to the water, less than two miles to downtown St. Pete and easy access to the beaches and Tampa. Also, the best ice cream shop in Florida is next door for those hot days.
Very close to a bus stop as well as plenty of cabs. Off-street parking.
Not knowing St. Petersburg as well as I should, I wanted a property that was centrally located to whatever I needed. Most listings say close to shopping, but it usually means you have to drive to the stores. Not here. The new Trader Joe's, which is beautiful, has everything for the healthy eater. And its walking distance. Literally almost across the street. We brought our pets and wanted to get them groomed when we got there and the dog groomer is right next door. I needed a haircut. The barber was right next door to the house. Very convenient. Good restaurants nearby, freeway is so close and a nice night time walk 3 blocks to the pier after dinner. Our dogs really enjoyed it. Nice drive to downtown St Pete. It was just right for us. Nothing fancy inside, but it was clean and comfortable. Pool was a joy and an added bonus. I'm looking forward to staying there again when I return to St. Petersburg.
