Why Allyson Roberts chose Lisbon Old Town
A lovely traditional building with its old charm, in the heart of Graça and notable for its 19th century blue tiles on the frontage. The apartment has a small patio at the back and tiny balcony at the front. This is a unique, local area with all amenities and restaurants, including childrens' playground nearby. There is a quiet park at the front of the building, just down from the local art gallery. On-road pay parking at the front, car park 5 minutes walk and a mix of pay and non-pay parking nearby. The apartment is on the first floor and is fully modernised with new comfort! Hot spot WiFi as of 2018. Not to be missed.
What makes this Apartment unique
All the equipment and furnishings are new, and the whole apartment has been transformed into a large, light and airy space. You will be walking into a new home, yours to enjoy for your stay. Imagine sitting either in the secluded patio, taking your breakfast or evening drink, or joining the small street cafes on the road at the front.

Right on the 28 Tram
the Apartment was great but there was no A/C. This was OK in the current weather.
Great location for feeling at home in Lisbon
Furnished in a cosy and original style . We were happy to spend our evenings here and cook dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. The local shopkeepers were most helpful and friendly.
Very nice, well-located apartment
The apartment made a great base for our travels around Lisbon. The bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment was clean and well-maintained. Allyson provided a lot of information about places to eat and things to do in the neighborhood, and was always available by text if we had questions.
The internet was not powerful enough to stream movies, but was fine for email.
I spent two weeks here with a friend and the apartment comfortably met our needs. I can’t say enough good things about the location, the neighborhood has everything to offer and feels like a real neighborhood with fabulous patisseries, restaurants, green grocers, miradoros, and easy walking into the Alfama or riding the 28 tram. The host is very gracious and leaves lots of suggestions for places to enjoy, we especially loved our time at the local Fado bar she recommended.
So glad you enjoyed the neighbourhood of Graca. It is indeed a friendly, local and special part of Lisbon.
The three of us had a wonderful stay at the apartment in the Graca neighborhood!
The apartment was well appointed with equipment which made it easy for preparing meals. Because of the location we explored the city mainly by foot. Allyson was very responsive and accommodating since our flight was delayed.
Great apartment in quieter part of town
We are a middle aged couple from California. Our standard of review is whether or not an apartment is as advertised. We spent two weeks in this apartment in late September/early October and can say that it is as advertised. There is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything worked and the apartment was clean. The beds were comfortable and the water was hot. As other reviewers have noted, the small bathroom is very small but the toilet and shower are usable. On the other hand, the large bathroom is plenty large.
We enjoyed the Graca district. Plenty of stores, a supermarket, and various smaller bars and restaurants. It's comparatively quiet at night but there are plenty of cabs and public transit options if you want to go somewhere livelier. The 28 tram goes right past the apartment and became part of the soundtrack of our lives. We miss that rumble.

Fabulous! If you happen to be there at the right time, Tasca do Jaime. You will encounter a real local flavour. The bar is tiny, the wine is great and the Fado happens, with respect and a degree of reverence. Way off the tourist track! Almost opposite turning into Rua da Sra. Do Monte. Saturday around 17.00.

Good cafés, including Café Portuguesa on Rua de Graça.
