Enjoy the views from the deck and can hear the ocean.
Enjoyed our stay, views are great, home was very comfortable, and décor is perfect for a beach-house. close to beach and fishing off the deck was successful for trout.
Me and the Family had a great time fishing and relaxing around the house. There are very nice appliances and very cozy area. There is a big downstairs room. And lots of nice scenery out by the water.
We were a group of motorcycle enthusiasts in for the Rally this year and we all loved the house. Location was close enough to the action , but far enough away that it wasn't in the middle of all the craziness of bike week. Wonderful view. Could use some more comfy pillows, Overall a fantastic place.
the house was in a great location, the layout of home was very nice.Just a lot of stairs .Main floor was 2nd floor which meant stairs, to carry up ice chests food and luggage. My grandson had one leg in a cast so that made it hard for him so he stayed on the bottom floor.
The kitchen we had problems with ants, light over sink would come on whenever it wanted to. stairs out on deck the last one was roten and came apart when we stepped on it( wife almost fell)..Great house but needs so maintenance....plumbing leaked outside where the shower connects and dripped on ground by from of house....
The home was layed out well the top bedroom nook was great, the AC worked really well for as hot as it was outside and refrgirators, washer and dryer were excellent. The shower doors were not secured well had to watch when you open and close so they would not fall off track. The tile in the upper bathroom were replaced pretty badly, really looked bad, several spots on ceiling had been repaired from water damage pretty shabbily, several tiles on floor need to be resecured, several roaches were killed are seen during our stay could use a good extermination, the upstairs entry door needs attention, drags floor hard to open and close and door knob really loose. The deck needs major attention, some floor boards a pretty rotten and all stairs and railings really shaky, will be pretty dangerous soon. With a little attention this home could be first class.
We did enjoy the home close to beach and right on canal. Evenings were nice on deck with breeze.
6 guys stayed here and we all had ample room to sprawl out and relax. There was only one shower (there's a bath upstairs in the bathroom) which worked out fine. Seemed like plenty of room for a reasonable rate. Thanks!
We had a great time the weekend we stayed at the house. My husband loved fishing from the dock during the day and at night using the green light. Relaxing place to stay and wonderful mornings and evenings on the deck.
Home is located in Jamaica Beach, on wide canal with beautiful view of Galveston State Park. In-water fishing light for excellent night fishing from dock, also boat stall to dock boat.
