Beautifully furnished, family friendly living space with all the amenities

Five star experience all the way from start to finish! Laura greeted us at the property on time. She had purchased a number of breakfast grocery items in advance so that we could start our trip off right. Fridge was stocked with all the essentials...eggs, milk, bread etc. My kids particularly loved the homemade granola!!!!!! The food was a nice touch and very thoughtful.

Laura has thought of everything. There is no utensil or cooking implement etc. that she doesn't have. Laura's home is beautifully decorated, clean, and very spacious. Lots of room for the family. Kitchen and dining area is large and spacious and excellent for entertaining. There are rooms to relax and read in quiet comfort, play a board game or just watch TV. Bedrooms and bathrooms were also well maintained and stocked with candles, essential oils, bath products and other toiletries.

There is a large outside deck with a BBQ and the large back yard has a children's play house for younger kids as well. The back yard extends to a hiking trail which leads to numerous trails and lots of hiking possibilities. The home is situated in a very quiet newer development just outside of the downtown core. Very quick drive or nice walk into downtown. Our family had a wonderful experience staying at Laura's home. We would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Whitehorse and would definitely stay here again. Thanks again Laura for your wonderful hospitality!

Fantastic home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

What a great experience we had. Laura was so accommodating for our young family. She went out of her way to find play pens and a high chair for our family so we didn't have to fly with them. The fresh bread and cheese was a great treat for when we arrived from a full day of travelling. Also the fridge had some essential items such as eggs, bacon, condiments and milk which was a wonderful surprise to have included. Laura had recommended some locations to check out that where great sites to see as well. Our stay was a fantastic experience and I will recommend this place to anyone. It was a very lovely home away from home and I certainly didn't want to leave this unique place at the end of our trip.

The Speial Touches were Amazing

  • 5 of 5

Laura's special touches made our stay just that extra special. The fresh cake and cookies, the homemade granola and fridge with essentials made that first night so relaxing. No need to rush to the grocery store - just settle in, enjoy the bright and airy house and if you had kids let them run in the back yard and play in the playhouse.

We settled in right away to the cozy beds, the ability to be connected throughout the house was special for adults and it would be ideal for those with small children. Those places to just sit and read, watch a movie or converse as a group in the sun room yet be connected to all.

The quiet atmosphere of the home and the neighborhood made for a stay that will be remembered by us all.

Thank-you Laura.

An excellent base to explore Whitehorse and surroundings

  • 5 of 5

Laura and Laina's home was exactly as advertised- bright, clean, modern and family friendly. The extra touches like Laina's cookies and Laura's home made granola, stocked basics and elk sausages were greatly appreciated. Our family of 6 including 1 year old Sam enjoyed relaxing both indoors and out in between our excursions to the beautiful Yukon and neighbouring Alaska areas. Many thanks

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

Laura's 2 bedroom unit was absolutely beautiful - warmly decorated and very well kept. We were a group of 4 woman meeting for a weekend away and the house accommodated us perfectly. Laura met our first visitor when she arrived at midnight and showed her all of the goodies that she had stocked the kitchen with: homemade granola, fresh bread, fruit, eggs, croissants, begals bacon and locally-made sausage! We were pleasantly surprised!

The house is beautifully situated, with a lovely yard backing on to one of Whithorse's many trail networks.

I would highly recommend a stay at Laura's for anyone visiting the Whitehorse area.
