What once was a building with a colorful history is now an adorable 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage full of homespun charm. Built in 1935 the building, in addition to being a dance hall, was at one time or another a storefront, a farrier's shop, and a duplex. Today, renovated using loads of reclaimed materials and tastefully decorated with pieces from the owners antique collection, the cottage is a welcoming home away from home. The location, which is only 5 minutes to the TIEC, also offers easy access to quaint small towns such as Tryon, Rutherfordton and Lake Lure in NC and Landrum in SC. These sweet spots are filled with great antiquing opportunities as well as local authentic cuisine. Larger cities such as Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC are only a day trip away. The cottage itself is outfitted with all the comforts of home. Multiple TV's and games will keep the little ones occupied while the adults relax on the patio, also chocked full of one of a kind antiques. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and one bedroom with bunk beds. The large bath also houses the W/D that is located behind two screen doors that are original to the house. An authentic 1950's style electic stove sets the tone for the well appointed kitchen. Opening up to the living and dining area, this space is sure to be the heart of the home. After a day at the TIEC or experiencing the other great things our area has to offer, relax in the comfort of the Dance Hall Cottage.
The Crowe's Nest, a one bedroom, one bath cottage has been remodeled in the same spirit as Dance Hall. Located right next door, the two properties are perfect for multiple families and family gatherings. Add the Crowes' Nest to your reservation of Dance Hall for $100/night. It can also be rented separately. Please inquire for availability.

Tryon Equestrian Center weekend!
This super quaint cottage is so nicely appointed! Every detail was thought out and the décor was so comfortable that included modern touches throughout. The girls cleaned their boots on the porch swing outside enjoying the nice backyard area! Big bathroom was enough space for two families of three. TIEC was 10 minutes away! The only negative was that it is on a slightly busy corner. There happened to be an accident that occurred during the early morning hours and was a bit noisy. The bunk beds are starting to become a bit too small for our teens but would be perfect for smaller children. We would all stay again and loved our "country cottage".
