This three bedroom home features a vaulted ceilings, two living areas, an outdoor grilling area and private pool (not able to be heated). An updated kitchen offers all stainless steel appliances and a granite island with three bar-top seats. The main living room flows from the kitchen and dining area; it features a flat-screen TV and seating for six (including a sleeper sofa). An additional living room offers seating for up to eight, a flat screen TV, and access to the pool area. Other amenities include wireless Internet and a private laundry room.

The master bedroom has a king bed and a private balcony; the master bathroom features a deep jetted garden tub, double-sink vanity and a double-headed shower. Bedroom two has two full beds, while bedroom three features two twin beds. Both bedrooms have private bathrooms with stand-alone showers. The garage is not available for guest use.

The largest and best known of the Island’s vacation destinations, this 5,000-acre resort includes the Harbour Town Links of the RBC Heritage fame, as well as Hilton Head’s iconic candy-striped lighthouse. We really enjoyed our stay a 4 Canvasback. The house was very clean when we arrived and we were pleased with the accommodations and the kitchen was well-equipped for everything we needed for meals for the week. We had some issues with the AC unit in the upper-level of the house, but the Rental Management was very responsive and tended to the problem quickly. The only couple complaints I can share is the the outside of the home needed some overdue attention. The porch over looking the pool area was starting to fall apart and there were exposed rusty nails in some of the boards of the railing. There were many wasp and bee nests all over the house and the pool and patio area was not cleaned thoroughly for our arrival or half way through the week. Overall, we really enjoyed our vacation and would consider renting the home again for a future vacation.

DISAPPOINTMENT! Pictures very deceiving! Value not worth the expense!

The pictures of this home are very deceiving. Rental property definately showed signs of a lot of wear and tear. I guess I should have called and asked if the pullout sleeper sofa on the main floor was comfortable to sleep on. I would not include this sofa in the bedding it was very old and not comfortable! I should have also called and asked when the other mattresses had been replaced. Air conditioner was very loud when it ran and not sure it was working properly. Did not understand when we were unpacking why there were two portable fans sitting in the kitchen. Quickly realized the fans were there probably to help with air flow and the musty/moldy smell in the air. Pictures did not reflect the limited and very dim lighting throughout the house. Called Sunday am to have burned out light bulbs replaced and a fuse issue repaired. Maintenance/housekeeping did resolve these issues Sunday afternoon. The only dresser in the king and 2 double bedding rooms are not usable. Dressers are cheaply made. When opening the dressers, the drawers tilt and fall out. Numerous closet doors are broke. One of the amenities that enticed us to rent this property was the private pool. When we arrived Saturday evening we noticed a garden hose was running and trying to fill the low level of water in the pool. Pool had a lot of debris in the water not to mention trash laying around the whole pool area. We spent an hour picking up the trash (juice boxes, a dirty diaper, food wrapers, ...) and cleaning the pool water. Kids were hoping to jump in the pool after a 13 hour road trip! Pool issues were reported Sunday. Problems with pool were resolved Monday am. A positive was the location of this rental - a short walk to the beach!

Overall, we were very disappointed in the cleanliness of this property. House looks like it could use a good pressure washing and repairs are needed on the decking. Windows need a good cleaning inside and out. A thorough cleaning needed on the inside with repairs. Pictures do not show the wear and tear on the appliances, mattresses, furniture, ...We spent a lot of money for this rental and unfortunately the value was not worth it! This was our fifth time renting at HHI and was the second most expensive property we rented. The value of this property was unfortunately not worth our expense!

As our properties are individually owned, we will be passing along all of your comments about the home to the owner so they can consider it in any future plans they may have with enhancing the property. Here is a list of things that have been completed since your stay: both front and back deck, had the home power-washed, a new landscaper has been hired and numerous projects have been completed, the bar stools were replaced and they have replaced the furniture in the first floor den. A deep clean of the property has also been completed - which also includes cleaning the upholstery - and we we will be taking new photographs of the home in the near future. Nonetheless, we recognize the impact that this has had on your stay and apologize again for the frustration. We hope you give us the opportunity to assist you with any future vacations to show you that we are committed to our guests!
