Great location, old condo

  • 3 of 5

This unit has a convenient location to harbor town, and it was one of the few that allows pets. Note that there was a $165 pet fee that was not disclosed in the VRBO instant quote.

The unit is out-dated. That wasn't such a bid deal to us because we were always on the go. But the mattresses really need to be replaced. The king bed is really two twins. One had a significant dip that made it really uncomfortable. My son complained about the bed in his room with the two twins also.

Good place to stay

  • 4 of 5

It was a very functional place to stay, could use some updating - especially in kitchen; you'd almost be better with a stackable w/d, with a narrow, free-standing pantry. I like to cook, and counter space is very limited - I had to use the washer top as a pantry. Very decent pots; I would supply a griddle. Just an aside, our grown children said the separate twin beds in guest room were quite uncomfortable. The owners might consider mattress toppers for the twin beds.

Outdated Unit and lacks TLC (tender loving care)

  • 2 of 5

I would describe this unit as "basic" and "outdated". This unit included all the "basics" items needed to stay there but nothing beyond. If you are looking for a unit that is well-appointed and nicely decorated, this unit would not be it. We booked late and so our choices were limited. Living room furniture are old and worn out -- furniture fabric colors were fading. Musty smell upon entering. Blinds were either broken or did not close properly; the sliding doors to the deck were hard to slide open and close, the outside deck was in need of a good power wash or paint, and was covered with pollen/leaves/dirt, the coating inside of the microwave and paint on the doors were peeling. This unit definitely needs an update! The positives -- the beds in the master room were comfortable and the location was excellent -- only 7 mins walk to Harbor Town, close to tennis courts and clubhouse of golf courses. That's the reason for the generous 2 stars.
