Looking for a property that's near Big Bear Activities yet still feels like a relaxing mountain getaway? Try our newly renovated loft cabin in the woods. With room for up to five guests, this adorable and fully outfitted retreat is ready for your full enjoyment. The open floor plan and vaulted ceilings allow for an intimate setting for close friends or family.

The living area is centered around a wood burning stove that provides great heat and ambiance. The primary bedroom is located in the upstairs loft area and is outfitted with a new queen bed with memory foam mattress. The second bedroom, with a new twin bed, and the bathroom are downstairs (access to bathroom and upstairs is through second bedroom). The living room sofa is a brand new queen size pull out bed. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch under the pine trees or gaze at the stars at night.

A few blocks from a local market, just 5 minutes the lake and to larger grocery stores and shopping centers, and 10 minutes to The Village and ski resorts. Wireless internet and cable TV with On Demand are provided.

Why Jonathan & Sarah Rios chose Big Bear

We love getting away from LA crowds and traffic and spending time in the fresh mountain air. This cabin is such a relaxing spot for our family, but is also near so many outdoor activities as well as the Village, restaurants, shops, etc. We can just go relax, or go find some mountain adventure. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Perfect get away!

  • 5 of 5

Loved this beautiful little home! Everything was pretty perfect from start to finish, a little small if you plan to have more than 2 people but very cozy! Only thing that bothered us was the battery going out in one of the smoke alarms at 4am, it was an easy fix so it wasn't that big a deal. Looking forward to coming back to this romantic little cabin!

Cozy Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My girlfriend and I stayed over for the weekend and had a great experience. The place was clean and cozy. Had everything that we needed. Great location, about 7-10 min from the village. We would definitely stay here again.

Was great for a weekend at Big Bear!

  • 3 of 5

Great place but the heating of the Chalet was a bit frustrating. Either your cold downstairs or hot upstairs. Other than that it was great. Thanks.

Owner's Response: Hi Richie and Stephanie, We are glad you enjoyed your stay and sorry that you found the heating frustrating. We do provide guests with tips on how we set the heater and use the fan when we are there to make the cabin comfy given that the heat will always rise in an A-frame. If you choose to come back for another stay or send a friend, we offer $15 off per night for your and/or them. Best, Sarah & Jonathan
