About the property

Complete Studio for two people in Trastevere - WiFi, AirConditioning, Washer

Behind Piazza San Cosimato, a central hub of the Trastevere neighborhood in which the traditional food and wine market of the area is held every morning, Casa di Fenizio (managed by FromHometoRome) is a great choice for visitors who want to live in contact with authentic Romans! The location allows you to make the most of a well populated and never boring area, but at the same time to enjoy moments of tranquility. Thanks to the fact that it overlooks the inner courtyard, Casa di Fenizio is quiet and cozy. The main room, which is accessed from the small hall, holds a double bed, a small dining table, a corner work area with a small desk, and the living area with a sofa and two armchairs. Although the apartment was newly renovated, all the pieces of furniture are original late 19th-century. The kitchen, separated from the main area, is basic but fully equipped: four-burner gas cooker, small electric oven, fridge and freezer. The main feature of the bath is the double shower. And last but not least, you can take advantage of the beautiful condominium terrace (on the last floor of the building) to enjoy beautiful sunsets over the city. Thanks to chairs, tables, and small furnished corners, you can have a snack or a meal or simply enjoy a glass of wine with friends!

wonderful place in the perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We had great time staying at Casa di Fenizio. Great location, close to transportation, 20-min walk along the river to Vatican, so many great cafes and restaurants for any price range, safe and lovely (especially in the evening) neighborhood. The apartment is very nice for two. Clean and cozy, and everything you need. Thank you Emanuele e Sara!

Great apartment and location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 5 nights. The apartment is as described. Correspondence prior to our arrival was prompt and helpful. Sara met us on arrival and provided us all the necessary and useful information. Emanuele provided assistance on one occasion very promptly which we appreciated. The apartment is a few minutes walk to the tram 8 and bus H which go to Largo Argentina and Roma Termini respectively. We also took bus 23 to

the Vatican from a bus stop just across Ponte Garibaldi. The local market is a couple of minutes walk away. There are two supermarkets in a street behind the apartment. We loved the availability of many restaurants serving Roman cuisine in the neighbourhood. We would return to this apartment and highly recommend it.

Great Apartment

  • 5 of 5

We spent 7 days at this apartment in the Trastevere and we were very happy. Rome is a beautiful city and we had easy access from the apartment. The area around the apartment was full of cafes and interesting shops. Emanuele was marvellous and very helpful, we would highly recommend this apartment. Barry and Jenny from Australia

Perfect Location & Great Bargain

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks in September to celebrate our 30th anniversary and his retirement. It was perfect. It's in a great part of Trastervere with cafes and restaurants galore. We loved the Baylon Cafe around the corner for our morning coffee and sweet roll. We arranged to be met at the airport through the booking agent and were met at the apt on our arrival. The apt is clean, modernized, and very quiet. We were able to walk to all the historic sites, but buses and trams were very close by also. Having the washer for our 2-week stay was perfect. No dryer, but clothes lines are available on the terrace. I would highly recommend this apt. You can't beat the location or the price.

Just perfect for two and we really loved the neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this nicely remodeled place for 5 nights and it was just perfect for us. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and close to all the mass transit options. The kitchen is newer and well appointed, the washer is extremely nice to have but no drier (coming from the USA, we missed the drier), and more than enough space for us. The high speed internet worked perfectly but I can't recommend the TV because we never used it. We spent most of our days out on the town and visiting sights. Very quiet but just steps from all the action. Sara was very helpful and spoke very good english. One small complaint, the house phone didn't have any minutes left on it but one e-mail to Sara and she solved the problem the very next day. We used it to call a cab to our train station the day we left. I strongly recommend eating in the Jewish Ghetto (try all the artichokes!) and Testaccio as well as some of the newer places in Trastevere.
