Trastevere Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Complete Studio for two people in Trastevere - WiFi, AirConditioning, Washer

Behind Piazza San Cosimato, a central hub of the Trastevere neighborhood in which the traditional food and wine market of the area is held every morning, Casa di Fenizio (managed by FromHometoRome) is a great choice for visitors who want to live in contact with authentic Romans! The location allows you to make the most of a well populated and never boring area, but at the same time to enjoy moments of tranquility. Thanks to the fact that it overlooks the inner courtyard, Casa di Fenizio is quiet and cozy. The main room, which is accessed from the small hall, holds a double bed, a small dining table, a corner work area with a small desk, and the living area with a sofa and two armchairs. Although the apartment was newly renovated, all the pieces of furniture are original late 19th-century. The kitchen, separated from the main area, is basic but fully equipped: four-burner gas cooker, small electric oven, fridge and freezer. The main feature of the bath is the double shower. And last but not least, you can take advantage of the beautiful condominium terrace (on the last floor of the building) to enjoy beautiful sunsets over the city. Thanks to chairs, tables, and small furnished corners, you can have a snack or a meal or simply enjoy a glass of wine with friends!

Great Apartment

  • 5 of 5

We spent 7 days at this apartment in the Trastevere and we were very happy. Rome is a beautiful city and we had easy access from the apartment. The area around the apartment was full of cafes and interesting shops. Emanuele was marvellous and very helpful, we would highly recommend this apartment. Barry and Jenny from Australia

Perfect Location & Great Bargain

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks in September to celebrate our 30th anniversary and his retirement. It was perfect. It's in a great part of Trastervere with cafes and restaurants galore. We loved the Baylon Cafe around the corner for our morning coffee and sweet roll. We arranged to be met at the airport through the booking agent and were met at the apt on our arrival. The apt is clean, modernized, and very quiet. We were able to walk to all the historic sites, but buses and trams were very close by also. Having the washer for our 2-week stay was perfect. No dryer, but clothes lines are available on the terrace. I would highly recommend this apt. You can't beat the location or the price.

Just perfect for two and we really loved the neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this nicely remodeled place for 5 nights and it was just perfect for us. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and close to all the mass transit options. The kitchen is newer and well appointed, the washer is extremely nice to have but no drier (coming from the USA, we missed the drier), and more than enough space for us. The high speed internet worked perfectly but I can't recommend the TV because we never used it. We spent most of our days out on the town and visiting sights. Very quiet but just steps from all the action. Sara was very helpful and spoke very good english. One small complaint, the house phone didn't have any minutes left on it but one e-mail to Sara and she solved the problem the very next day. We used it to call a cab to our train station the day we left. I strongly recommend eating in the Jewish Ghetto (try all the artichokes!) and Testaccio as well as some of the newer places in Trastevere.

Excellent!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this lovely apartment for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect -- very close to the most central part of Trastevere (less than 5 minute walk) but completely silent at night. It has an excellent shower, comfortable bed, fast wifi, a/c, kitchen, etc. Everything you could need! In addition, Emmanuele and Sara were very kind and immediately responded to my emails. When I had to change my arrival date at the last minute because I got sick, they provided free limo service from the airport and refunded a good portion of the deposit. Thank you for a great visit! I would definitely stay here again :)

just what I needed

  • 5 of 5

I needed to stay in Rome for work for two and half weeks, and this apartment was perfect. The stay began with the professional transfer from the airport which Emanuele arranged for me. The apartment was appointed with everything necessary, including peace and quiet, especially for a good night's sleep. The location is fantastic: just around the corner from fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, cheeses, and breads, everything to make healthy meals. Emanuele and Sara were always prompt and timely with my many, many questions: they told me where I could get a haircut, buy a power cord for my laptop, print documents: they even recommended a tailor for a blouse that needed mending. The apartment is very conveniently located to many services. And naturally it was easy to find good restaurants and easy to see the usual sights in Rome (conveniently located on a bus/tram route right to Pza Venezia, or an easy walk across the Ponte Sisto). I most highly recommend the service that Emanuele and Sara provided: attentive and professional. I will *definitely* recommend them to my colleagues and I will surely use their services in the future. This was a great value.

Just perfect!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment could not have been in a more perfect location. Had great restaurants around the squares and little walk ways leading out from them. The apartment was very nice and looks just like the pictures. Everything was provided for and our greeter, Emanuele, was prompt in meeting us and explaining all that we needed to know. We were very comfortable staying there and would definitely recommend this apartment.
