Private and well appointed gem near Blue Ridge/Asheville
Can't say enough for how cozy and thoughtfully put together this place was. Very new and one of the cleanest places I've ever rented. Bed/half bath/sitting area downstairs, kitchen/full bath/bedroom upstairs. We slept 2 adult couples in the bedrooms and a young child on each couch and we were plenty comfortable. View from any window is breathtaking. The unit is basically a furnished room over a garage that is attached to the main house. However, the porch wraps around this smaller unit too and there is a hot tub, table, Adirondack chairs and a fire ring on this side. Owners were next door but separated by a walkway and I don't think we heard each other once apart from a brief handshake and chat outside. Privacy was not an issue at all and property manager was accessible by text and very responsive. Proximity to area attractions are a plus! 30-ish min drive to Mt Pisgah, Asheville etc. Literally, the only negatives I could possibly come up with are that the kitchen doesn't have an exhaust fan (so I thought better of cooking bacon) and the roadway to the property is majorly steep and unpaved (but it's worth it for the view you get). Resounding recommendation on this one.
Pisgah Forest retreat is situated at the top of a mountain with a beautiful view of the Smokies. The space itself is quite small, but perfect if you plan to spend most of your time enjoying the beautiful area, back deck, fire pit, and grill. There is a beautiful story behind the home that is written in a welcome letter on the counter. I highly recommend this home, You'll love it.
Very clean. Beautiful setting. Great location for biking.
My friend and I were in the area to participate in a bike race. We selected this house because of the location, hot tub, and we would have separate rooms. The place was clean and comfortable. We believe the owners live next door, but we never saw them outside. This place is pretty spectacular. We’d stay there again.
Modern room in the center of the land of waterfalls.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. The cleanliness of the place was unbelievable. It's exactly what we were looking for to explore the land of waterfalls.
Exceeded all our expectations! The views are extraordinary, especially from the hot tub. One hint, be sure to open the cabinet door above the refrigerator to operate the direct tv.
Cozy in the mountains
This little cottage sits seemingly at the top of the mountain up winding roads and has a fabulous view! The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is so cute. It has just one stand up shower upstairs, but there is a half bath downstairs for the other bedroom. We had a lovely, easy drive to Biltmore which was gorgeous for Christmas. We did a lovely hike up White Mountain near Highlands on our way home. I would say the hot tub was a bit difficult to keep really feeling hot and since it's basically a converted garage the neighbors are a bit disconcertingly close, but the hot tub is around the corner, so it doesn't feel too exposed. Overall, we had a great time!
