About Christy Chamberlain
We have been renting our Log Cabins for ten years and we are committed to making your stay with us as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Our family owned business consists of Gordy & Judy Groff and our son Steve, his wife Megan and two children Chloe & Ella. We have three other grandchildren. Katie, Kristie and Nick who enjoy the mountains and often are here to help with any project we are working on to improve the cabins. Beth Morningstar is our property manager and takes care of any questions or problems you may have during your stay. She is very quick to return any calls and takes care of problems in a very timely fashion. We all love nature and the mountains and are drawn to water like the beautiful Raystown Lake. We travel often and want to have our guests experience the same quality stay we would enjoy. We all work during the summer to make any improvements on our cabins to make your stay with us more enjoyable. We purchased the property in 2005 and since that time have upgraded furniture, decks and the front porches. From the front porch you can sit and relax as you enjoy a cool drink and feel the cool breeze as the evening sets in. There are 6 chairs around the fire pit so you can enjoy time with family and friends or just enjoying everyone roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The back deck is convenient to have your morning coffee while overlooking our ten acre wooded area and watching all of the wildlife.

Quiet weekend retreat
Great cabin, had everything I needed for a quiet weekend away
Thank you so much for your nice review, we truly appreciate it and look forward to your return.
We love the weekend here. It's calm and relaxing. Only the basement was a bit chilly but overall it was a very nice stay.
Thank you for booking from us, happy to hear you enjoyed your stay.
Please come again.
Great for a weekend away with friends
Very cozy cabin in a great location within walking distance from Raystown Lake. Included just about everything we needed (dishes, cookware, blankets, etc.). We only need to bring our own bed linens and towels, which was not a problem, since that was all defined on the website. The only hitch was that there was a problem with the septic system in the "Brown Roof" cabin, which we had initially rented, but that was discovered before we got there and the owners quickly switched us to two similar, but slightly smaller cabins in the same area. That ended up working out even better for our group, so I have no complaints. I think everyone in our group of nine would say we'd stay here again!
I am so happy that everything worked out for you and your guests! We look forward to having you again!
Very nice place to stay! Will definitely rent this cabin again!
