VillaCathedral Country Home If you are a VIR fan, you will love it here! Bring your rig, your friends and your family! A quick 15 minutes from the track, you have a great place to relax and rest up with the comforts of home! You will find quiet country elegance in this destination B&B located just 7 miles from Virginia International Raceway. The home can accommodate up to 12 with prior arrangements. Longer term rental options are available if desired. In addition, the home is available to host Weddings, Family Reunions, Corporate Events, Workshops and Retreats. In addition to the main Villa house on eastern edge of the property, we have MerryBrook Cottage on the Pond. This is also available for whole house rental. Additional individual rooms are available across the creek at BreazyOaks. On the first floor at VillaCathedral, there are two bedrooms, each with a private bath. Upstairs in this wing of the home you will find an apartment style suite which includes master bedroom/master bath, full kitchen and an additional bedroom/half bath. An additional "bonus room" on the first floor in the opposite wing provides additional sleeping quarters for our larger groups. We will add a second bed to each of the 4 bedrooms if you like, and we can easily set up 4 additional beds in the bonus room for your extra guests. Beds are a combination of full and queen sizes. When you walk into the beautiful and expansive Great Room which merges with kitchen and den areas, you will discover the high Cathedral Ceilings throughout, the Baby Grand player piano and lots of comfy spots to settle into. Our home was designed for large gatherings with your friends and family. You will find abundant natural lighting with skylights and southern exposures throughout the home. You will enjoy sitting on the expansive front porch and enjoying the views of peaceful open fields surrounding the home on this 130 acre family farm estate. We are located in a region rich with history and plenty of outdoor recreation opportunities. Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Greensboro, NC are all approximately 50 minutes drive. We are located halfway between Danville and South Boston, VA, and two hours from Richmond, VA.
