Family casa in Loreto Bay - a dream for those that enjoy the outdoors.

Bedrooms 3
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

3 bedroom, sleeps 6, mountain view, seconds from Sea of Cortez, golf, hiking

This large casa, in the picturesque village of Loreto Bay, is seconds away from the community pool, newly built lap pool, and the Sea of Cortez. And just minutes away from the 18 hole, Par 72 Loreto Bay Golf Course. Considered to be one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in Mexico.

This house has two levels and a roof top terrace. The rooftop terrace offers stunning view of the Sierra de la Giganta Mountain Range and is ideal for relaxing and taking in the views. Why not enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine while watching the sun set.

The master bedroom is located on the upper level. Complete with a full bath, the master bedroom also has a TV, ample closet space, lounge chairs and a couch. Just outside the master bedroom is the outdoor patio. Complete with lounge chairs and patio set, it is an ideal area for having dinner under the stars.

The two other large bedrooms are on the main floor, each with its own full bath. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, dining room table, and a living room with TV. Outside is a BBQ, patio set and outdoor fountain.

This is an ideal home away from home. For a family getaway, or snowbirds who want space for friends and family to visit during the long winters, Loreto Bay has much to offer. Restaurants, wine bar and a coffee shop are just minutes away on foot. Also, Viva Loreto is just down the street where you can book your adventure tours.

Loreto Bay and the surrounding area offer plenty of activities. Rent paddle boards or sea kayaks to explore the bay, or ATV’s to explore the mountains. There is fishing, diving, snorkeling, hiking, dolphin and whale watching, and boat tours to Carmen and Coronado Islands. A 10 minute drive up the Baja takes you to the town of Loreto where you can explore the history and shop. Loreto truly is a hidden gem.

Family casa in Loreto Bay - a dream for those that enjoy the outdoors.
average rating of 4.6 based on 10 reviews

everything was great!

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful casa in a beautiful place. Everything you need for a wonderful vacation. We cooked dinner most nights- the kitchen is very well appointed. Unfortunately the dishwasher wasn't functioning (talk about a first world problem)... but I was reacquainted with the joys of dish washing.

If you are looking for a safe, well located house- this has it all.

Very nice property but needed some maintenance

  • 3 of 5

Beautiful property but it needs a few finishing touches for the price they are charging . First , some of the lights were not working, the dishes were dirty in the cabinets, the floors were dirty, and the shower floors were very slippery. The house is so big also that the internet does not work in the upstairs master suite. Don't get me wrong, the house is amazing , just needed a few finishing touches .

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments Troy. I have brought them to the attention of our property manager. The router was moved to the bed stand from the little table in master bedroom. The jack it was plugged into is not a data jack. The router has been moved back and it works. The dishwasher leaves hard water spots so I have asked that our property manager do an intensive clean in the kitchen where everything will be hand washed.

Good spacious house that met all of our needs!

  • 4 of 5

We would come back.Roomy and everything worked. Tucked into a quiet part of LB, no water view, but lovely view of the mountains. Convenient to the community pool and easy walk to the beach and lap pool. House could do with a few repairs but nothing significant. We had to buy a good fry pan only a couple of small ones. Property manager was prompt and helpful with everything we asked for.

Loved the unit and Loreto

  • 4 of 5

Loved the unit except needs updated and more pots and pans. Also had to ask for blender (who doesn't have a blender in Mexico for margs and pina coladas).

The beds where great and furniture comfortable. Plenty of towels including beach towels. Always had propane for BBQ and called property manager for the 5 gallon jugs to be refilled for a small fee.

Gave it only 4 stars because Loreto was having water problem so for the last 3 days had water on and off so left a day early! Nothing worse than no water to shower or use bathroom!! Not unit fault but Loreto Bay Village complex. Plus having problems with seaweed on the beach.

Great golfing but pricey unless you buy weekly or monthly pass.

Owner's Response: Thank you very much for your comments. I understand that our property manager was able to get you a blender. Thank you for the suggestion. You're right, we should have a blender in Mexico. :) I'm sorry you had to leave a day earlier because of the hot water situation. There was a few days of no hot water, however it has been resolved. I hope you enjoyed it enough to visit Loreto Bay again.
