Why Owen chose Pocklington
it is an opportunity to try life in a Victorian Chapel, it's very quiet yet only a stones throw to supermarkets and the town centre of Pocklington with its artisan shops and boutiques. There are 2 a wedding venues a couple of miles away.

Lovely characterful property
Superb standard of fittings, lovely decor, very convenient for Pocklington centre. Quality throughout.
In Hockney’s steps!
Beautifully restored chapel within graveyard. Interesting one of two chapels on site with very quiet neighbours! Very convenient for shops and short walk into town. Lots of homely touches and certainly a warm house with plenty of space. Perfectly situated to explore the Yorkshire Wolds.
Gorgeous property in a quiet location, excellent!
Beautiful little chapel, finished to a very high standard with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Perfect location for travelling around the area and lovely to come home to. Owen was instantly available for any minor problems and directions, key safety and guest requirements were polite and clear. Would highly recommend.
Thank you so much for your review of the Chapel, it was a pleasure to host you and a delight to find it so well looked after. We would love to host you again if you are in East Yorkshire.
Lovely weekend for two
We had a lovely long weekend stay in the converted chapel. All amenities are of the highest standard and the welcoming basket of baked goodies , milk, tea and coffee were very welcome. Pocklington is a lovely old town with some very good restaurants and coffee shops just five minutes walk away in the High Street. We chose the property for its proximity to a few National Trust properties and for the ease of getting into York. Would highly recommend a stay.
Beautiful and perfectly located property
Lovely building inside and out with lots of thoughtful touches. Only a couple of minutes from the market square, but in a secluded and quiet street itselt. Great value for money and I’d highly recommend it
Unique setting & lovely interior
Spent many a night star gazing from the cemetery. Lovely house, with lots of homely touches from the owners (croissants, pain au chocolats, fresh milk). A power cut disabled the timer for the heating, but Owen was out within minutes to reset. Would recommend.
