We recently purchased our condo and have completely renovated the unit with modern updates and everything brand new!

Our condo is a vacationer's delight - a great place to kick back and enjoy the pool, beaches, tennis and all of the Lowcountry's charm.

About our condo:

Located on the first floor, our unit is one of the closest to the beach which is just a quick walk away. (Note: there are no elevators at Fiddler's Cove so you don't have to deal with large flights of stairs and heavy luggage and groceries, etc.) It is light, bright and airy.

We have completely renovated our unit with virtually everything new! From sofas, bathrooms, furniture, beds, mattresses, televisions, small appliances right down to the pots, pans and vegetable peeler. New mattresses in both bedrooms are protected with high quality zippered breathable, impenetrable protection for your comfort, hygiene and peace of mind. You will have a great sleep!

A brand new 50" flat high definition TV is located in the living room as well as a new flat screen TV in the master bedroom. Both have complimentary cable, and WIFI.

The master bedroom has a premium queen size bed and a its own bathroom. The guest bedroom has two twin beds. There is a new queen size sofa bed in the living room with a premium mattress also. Bed linens and blankets are provided as well as a starter supply of basic amenities.

The dining area has a table that will extend to accommodate 6 people comfortably. There is also a large size washer dryer that will handle a full size load.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a microwave, stove top/oven, automatic dishwasher as well as coffee maker, teapot, toaster. All cookware, glassware, kitchen towels and utensils are provided.

Relax outdoors on our private patio with seating for 4. Cook up some dinner on the outdoor grill located adjacent to the bike racks.

Our unit is immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. We provide everything except the food, beach towels and sand! :)

About Fiddler's Cove Beach and Tennis Resort:

Fiddler's Cove is a gated 23 acre resort with 24 hour security centrally located just minutes from everything on the Island. A short walk across the street and down the block and you're at beautiful Folly Field Beach, one of Hilton Head's several public beaches that run along 12 miles of pristine white sandy oceanfront. There are no busy streets to cross and you are just 200 yards from the water's edge.

For those who wish to stay poolside, Fiddler's Cove offers 2 large heated/cooled pools and a heated jacuzzi. The nearest pool is just steps away next to the guard house outside of our building.

For the athletic, 10 Har-Tru tennis courts and 2 indoor racquetball courts will keep you in shape. There are playgrounds and a game room in the Clubhouse for the kids. All of these are free during your stay. Fiddler's Cove is located on the Island's 32 mile bike trail. Inexpensive, convenient bike rentals are just a phone call away.

About Hilton Head Island:

The Island is a golfer's paradise with courses designed to challenge every level of play. Golfers will find more than 20 picturesque courses both on and just off the Island.

Deep-sea and freshwater fishing charter boats are available at many of the local marinas. Jet skiing, sailing, para sailing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, kayaking and surf and pier fishing are some other water related activities to enjoy. Hiking horseback riding, beach combing, tours, wineries... There's just too many activities to list!

Y'all come on down... kick off your shoes, put on your flip flops and have fun!

(Please note: Fiddler's Cove Resort policy does not allow pets and this is a no smoking unit. There are several quality pet hotels on the Island. Motorcycles, boats or trailers are not allowed at Fiddler's Cove. )

My name is Ron and my wife is Janet, both of us born and raised on Long Island . As recently semi-retired professionals we were looking for the perfect place to relocate when we stumbled on Hilton Head, in many ways it is similar to Long Island. I have always loved the water and want to be near it. Fishing is my passion and Hilton Head did not disappoint with some of the best fishing around.

Janet is an artist, and Hilton Head is the muse for her art. Nature abounds with beaches, marsh lands and a Low country charm that soothes the soul. She loves to play golf.

We are both vintage car enthusiasts and the climate here allows us to get out and drive all year long. You may see Janet zipping around in her 1980 Triumph Spitfire. I own a 1967 Austin Healy 3000 and a 1964 Triumph TR4.

ROLAND AND JANET JOHNSON purchased this condo in 2015


Our condo, 1A, is in the first building near the entrance, one of the closest to the ocean. You can leisurely walk there in a few minutes. We bought the unit this past January and spent the last two months completely renovating it. Everything is new! Janet is a college professor and teaches interior design, so you will find the unit to be nicely decorated in a contemporary, relaxed style. By the end of March we completed all of the renovations and are now ready to offer our unit for rental. (This is why you don't see a long history of feedbacks.)

Fiddler's Cove Resort is the perfect place for a couple, a golf group or a family. Stretching out and relaxing in a condo is so much nicer and more enjoyable than staying in a hotel room with basically a bed, tv and bathroom. Here, you will really feel like you are in your home away from home with all of the amenities. Usually the cost to stay in a condo is less than that of the hotel room. Just the cost of dining out 3 meals a day can really add up. The condo allows to to prepare your own meals and eat when you want. Compare and see for yourself.

Immaculately clean! All new! Easy access! Our unit is on the first floor (note: there are no elevators at Fiddler's Cove) Added safety- our building, Bldg 1, is the only building in the Resort that has a fire sprinkler system throughout every unit on every floor.

Enjoy that first cup of morning coffee in the peace and privacy of your own private patio. Your are literally steps away from the beach. If sand is not your thing, enjoy the 2 pool and meet some new folks. The master bedroom has it's own bathroom. New large screen TV, plus one in the master bedroom. Full size washer/dryer not the tiny units usually installed at Fiddler's Cove. Last, but not least, great owners who want you to have a fun-filled, worry free vacation.

There's so much to do here. Hilton Head has a 12 mile beach, 200yds from the unit. For a bit of history, Charleston and Savannah have tours of the cities, both are filled with interesting information. For some stimulating fun try Hilton Head's Zip line. There is snorkeling, surfing, bogey boards, fishing, jet-skiing and so much more. Pick up a free Island Guide at many of the local vendors for more info.

Great Place to Stay!

We had a great time in Hilton Head and this was a great location. It is a quick walk to the beach but there is also a parking area at the beach that is reasonable (free for handicapped). The condo was very nice and had everything that we needed! We would definitely go back.

Perfect vacation

We (Family of 4) were here for one week. The condo was clean, very good and fully equipped. We didn't miss anything. We had enough towels and linen for 6 People.

The owner was very friendly and if there was any question he answered immediately.

The condo was located directly at the Gate but there were bushes so nobody could look to the condo.

The short walk to the beach was perfect with Kids, as were the two pools.

We had a perfect week in Fiddler's Cove and if we ever visit South Carolina again, we will definitely come back. Thank you for a great vacation.

It is not often when high expectations are met but the Johnson VRBO condo certainly rises to the challenge. Newly renovated and close proximity to a private beach entrance, there is not really much to question. Throw in a couple pools and restaurants/shopping nearby - you have it all. Fiddler's Cove - a great experience!

First time to HHI. Fiddler's Cove proved to be an excellent location to restaurants, Shelter's Cove and grocery stores. Accommodations were spacious, quiet and clean. AC worked great. You can tell the unit has been updated, and it met all of our family's needs. Being on the first floor was very handy too! Love that Roland provided a beach cart along with beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys...that was a bit hit with the kids!

Folly Field Beach is not as busy compared to the south part of HHI, which meant the beach was spacious and lots of room to play and move around. It is an easy quick walk to the beach, lifeguard on duty during the day. We also enjoyed both pools on the property.

Roland was just a text away, and responded to any of our questions. I definitely recommend staying here. Thanks for a great family vacation!
