About the property

3 Bedrooms Each With Their Own Private Bathroom Just A Few Blocks To The Ocean.

Our home features an open floor plan with 2300 square feet of living space. Every room in the house is bright and breezy. You can feel the ocean breeze throughout the house and the aroma of salt water. We just completed an extensive renovation of our home with everything in it upgrade and new. There is new granite counter tops in the kitchen, new appliances, new stained flooring, new decorative tiled wall, new furniture throughout the entire house. New bedding, towels, decorations, kitchenware, the list goes on. The first floor offers a large kitchen with bar stool counter top seating in addition to the eating area with a table for 8. The living room features a gas fireplace, 54" wall mounted flat screen television, large L-shape sofa, side chair, recessed lighting throughout with beach theme decorations and artwork of historic Huntington Beach. The half bath is off the living room on the first floor as is the attached 2 car garage with entrance into the living room. The large open kitchen is stocked with everything you need to feel right at home and if cooking is what you enjoy, you will love it in this kitchen that opens with a double sliding glass door to the front yard and patio. The second floor offers 2 large master suites each with a private bathroom on-suite. Both master bedrooms are furnished with California King size beds, dressers, seating areas, wall mounted televisions and large closets. The laundry room is on the second floor for easy access to the bedrooms and has a new washer and dryer. The third floor offers a large bedroom with private bathroom and balcony. The third bedroom is furnished with two full size double beds, allowing for 4 people to sleep in this space. There is a side chair with a 54" wall mounted flat screen television. Walk out the sliding glass door of the third bedroom to a large balcony with a beautiful L-shaped lounge unit and coffee table. Our home has a gated front yard with a grass area, built in Barbecue Island, wood burning fire pit and new patio table for 6 with a extra-large umbrella.

At the beach parking is always a struggle. No need to worry as there is enough parking on our property for 3 cars, and parking on the street. Are gated grassy front yard is the perfect size for a small gathering or event.

This home is absolutely beautifully decorated, extremely clean and well maintained. It shows true pride of ownership and is in the heart of Surf City USA, Huntington Beach, California. You could not ask for a better location, just far enough from downtown to be away from the noise and crowd if you choose, or just close enough to be in the center of the action. We are just a few short blocks to the sandy beach of Huntington, with a beautiful pacific coast line, blue ocean, white sandy beaches, pier and Main Street with tons of shops, clothing stores, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, spas you name it, it’s all on Main Street.

Our home in Huntington Beach is located in Orange County, California and is located 35 miles south of the Los Angeles Airport and 10 miles north of the John Wayne- Orange County Airport with easy freeway access. Huntington Beach is known for great weather, wonderful surfing and beautiful beaches. During the month of July Huntington Beach is best known for its wonderful 4th of July Fire Works Display and home of the US Surf Open. Huntington Beach is close to other great beaches. Going south is Newport Beach & Laguna Beach going north is Seal Beach and Long Beach. Santa Monica and Venice Beach is a short 1 hour drive north. We have several amusement parks within a short drive. Disneyland is a quick 30 minute drive, Knott’s Berry Farm is a 20 minute drive and Universal Studios is 1 hour drive. Huntington Beach is unique in the sense that you can wake up in the morning and go surfing, then jump in your car and drive 1 1/2 hours to the resort desert town of Palm Springs for lunch and then end up in the San Bernardino Mountain Communities for a night of skiing, if in season. Huntington Beach is a great central location to plan your stay as you truly are right in the middle of great beaches, restaurants, shopping, and attractions and nearby cities to see, such as San Diego & Santa Barbara. If wine tasting & gambling are of interest to you, again, they are all just a short drive from our home in Huntington Beach in beautiful Temecula which is a 1 hour drive, or Casinos & Spa's in Palm Springs a 1 1/2 hour drive and if you decide you've had too much of the ocean breeze, take off for a 1 nighter in Las Vegas, just a short 4 1/2 hour drive. Shopping is a great experience in the OC with the beautiful Southcoast Plaza and Fashion Island Malls just a short 15 minute drive and nearby Outlet malls. If you happen to be in Huntington Beach during the months of July & August you can enjoy the Laguna Beach Art Festival and the famous Laguna Beach Pageant of the Masters in addition to the famous OC Fair. Honestly there are so many places to go and things to do, making our home in beautiful downtown Huntington Beach the place to stay for your vacation or extended stay.

This is the perfect house and could be used in so many ways. It's great for a couple who like to have space. A single family with children. Two families with children since the second floor offers a parents retreat with two master suites and the third floor would accommodate the children, or it's perfect for 10 adults looking to spend time together whether it’s for a girl’s get away, men's get away, special event, such as a wedding, birthday or corporate event.

This home is being offered as a vacation rental, a short term corporate relocation stay or if you’re remodeling and need a place to call home until your home is completed.

Due to The City of Huntington Beach Ordinance, we must rent this house for a minimum of 30 days. Please contact us in regards to the minimum requirements if you have questions.

About Debbie, Property Manager

This is my home and I take pride in the ownership of it. I was born and raised in this area and love living in Southern California. The weather and beaches are amazing and there is no better place to live then at the beach. When this home is not being rented as a vacation rental or short term rental, I allow my family and friends from around the country to stay here as a wonderful beach escape.

Why Debbie, Property Manager chose Orange County

I chose to buy this house for several reasons. Number one the location. It's only a few minutes’ walk to the beach, the pier, Main Street where all the action is and it's centrally located off Pacific Coast Highway in the middle of all the beautiful beach communities of Southern California. The house is large a spacious with an open floor plan. The house is very unique in the sense that every bedroom has its own private bathroom and there is a separate 1 bedroom rental property over the garage, currently rented year round. Other unique features especially at the beach is the fact that the house offers a 3 car garage (1 is for the apartment over the garage) and has extra parking in the driveway, is on a huge lot and has a nice size front yard with a gated grass area.

What makes this house unique

I love the fact that the living area is downstairs and the bedrooms are up stairs. This allows for people to entertain and have fun without interrupting those who want a little quiet and peace. Another nice feature is the laundry room is up stairs next to the bedrooms, which makes doing laundry a lot easier.

This house was just perfect for us. It is located about a 5 minute walk from Main Street Huntington Beach. We could easily walk down to the beach and grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants and get some sand between our toes. For other shopping needs, Wal-Mart and Target are within a 10 minute drive.

The house itself just sparkles, white glove clean. Everything is brand new. The appliances and fixtures are immaculate. It even has a new wine fridge to chill that perfect wine. The beds are comfy and have PLENTY of pillows. It rained the week we were there so we didn't get a chance to fire up the grill or take the bicycles out for a spin but those would definitely be nice to have on a "normal" California day of sunshine and warm weather.

Debbie is the ideal host. From the day of booking, we could easily contact her with any questions. She provided very detailed instructions to get to property and once inside, the folder on the counter had all the answers. The first thing we got on was the WiFi which was more than adequately fast. The second thing was getting the basketball game on the TV (and there are quite a few TV's throughout the house)! The third thing was to dig into the goodies in the welcome basket. Thanks Debbie!

The parking was a little tight in the garage but you could easily find street parking. Just be sure not to park out there on certain days. Check the street signs first if you plan to park there. The neighborhood is nice enough. Walking back late at night though, you may bump into some interesting characters.

All in all a great experience. A++

Wonderful Home Near the Beach

Highly recommend this lovely house close to the beach. I stayed here for almost three months with my husband and newborn. The location was perfect, making daily walks to the beach and nearby shopping complex Pacific City, as well as weekly trips to the farmer's market, super easy even with a brand new baby. The owner was great with recommendations as well as keeping in touch to see how we were doing. She was even kind enough to mail some items that had accidentally been left behind! Great service and truly a lovely property. You won't regret choosing this place!

It doesn't get any better than this!

I have stayed at quite a few rentals offered by this and other companies and cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at 714 Alabama. It has spoiled us. We spent 5 weeks at this incredibly comfortable, beautiful, very clean and well located property. Each room is light, airy and inviting with many decorative touches and there is no shortage on basic supplies, towels, and beach accessories. My husband LOVED the daily dip in the very private hot tub either to start or end his day. Even the oversized garage was a pleasure to use. REALLY A TREMENDOUS FIND! If it is available, BOOK IT.

It is a 10 minute walk to the main drag in town where one can find lively restaurants and goings-on, great people-watching and a gorgeous beach. Yet the neighborhood that the house is nestled into, a mix of bungalows and bigger homes, is very quiet. We loved going to the dog beach (one of the few in Orange County) where dogs can run unleashed to their hearts content and dog owners are responsible. There is easy access to highways, other beach towns and every type of shopping need you may have.

Debbie, the property manager was extremely responsive to any questions or needs we had. Can't ask for better. The owners seem to really care that guests have a top notch experience.

Home Away from Home

This property was perfect for my family for our 2 month stay while our house was under construction. The house was in immaculate condition with lovely beach home decor. It was nice to have a fenced in yard for my kids to play. We enjoyed the BBQ and eating dinner on the patio. The jacuzzi on the rooftop was an added bonus! Parking was never an issue with access to three car garage. Kitchen was fully stocked with all essentials for cooking along with brand new dishes. Excellent closet and drawer space for all our luggage. The laundry room was perfectly located on the 2nd floor for central access. Great location in downtown Huntington Beach, our family scootered to Main street frequently for dinner. The corner Mini-Mart also came in handy for last minute items. The manager Debbie went above and beyond to make sure our family was comfortable, she was super kind and detail oriented, she had all the details we needed to know about the property in a notebook. And our deposit was returned in a extremely timely manner. We would definitely recommend this newly renovated house for your next beach vacation rental!

Huntington Beach Perfection

We just stayed in this property August 6-13, 2016. We had a wonderful experience! The home was very clean, absolutely perfect for pets (no carpet in the house), all amenities are available, & very nice quality. The home is decorated very coastal & every room is spacious with its own bathroom. Walking distance to Pacific City & Main Street but much more fun to ride the provided beach cruisers. Manager was always available, but we didn't need a thing! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, clean, well managed property!

We had a wonderful stay at this property over 4th of July weekend. Great location to the beach and located conviently to stores, Disneyland and restaurants. The house was full stocked with anything and everything we could have needed, even sand toys and a wagon for my kids! The property manager, Debbie, was readily available to offer information and even left a wonderful welcome basket! The gated front yard was great for outdoor dining and s'mores making and the hot tub on the deck was a great perk. Highly recommend this property. Thank you Debbie!

5 Stars all the way in every way!

I had researched VRBO for a year and after considering a half dozen properties, I settled on this beautiful property in Huntington Beach. From the first inquiry to the last day of my month long stay, I was very impressed with Debbie, the property manager/owner who was very diligent in answering all of my questions in a timely manner. She was honest, straight forward and extremely helpful. Excellent customer service.

Now to the beautiful house. It is everything and more that is represented by Debbie and the website. No surprises, everything is brand new, professionally

decorated, and tons of amenities. The location is ideal, the neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and access to downtown and the beach couldn't be more perfect! The front yard for my very large dog, was the icing on the cake. I travel with my 130 lb tibetan mastaff and there are few places that accept large dogs other than hotels. With dog beach within walking distance this was the perfect house for me and my pup.

I highly recommend this house to anybody wanting to stay in Huntington Beach. You will not be disappointed.

Can't wait to get back to the ocean and my dream house!
