Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you to the pleasant and efficient Oceanfront Realty staff who helped us during our month stay at Sealodge unit A6. A6 proved to be as advertised and perfect for two seniors. The views are fantastic, the action of the waves ever changing and the weather was mostly ideal. The unit was clean and well equipped included basic kitchen items so that preparing a simple meal to enjoy on the lanai was easy. We did not venture down the beach access, heeding the posted warnings and considering our ages but watched the more adventurous navigate it easily. What we most cherish is the sighting of so many whales just offshore while being caressed by the gentle ocean breezes. We hope to be back again next year.

Sealodge A6: 1 BR / 1 BA condo in Princeville, Sleeps 3
average rating of 4.125 based on 9 reviews

Great views, all the basics, in heart of Princeville, small beaches walking distance. Outdated.

It’s an older unit, outdated with great views. Modern amenities isn’t found here, small-quite-Ocean views are fantastic and located in easy access area in central Princeville... you’ll want upgrades but won’t think about them much, but newer units for similar prices will be on your mind. However, with several trips to Princeville I’m not at all disappointed, just would recommend upgrades.

Owner's Response: Aloha David, and mahalo for your review. Please note that while Sealodge is one of the oldest complexes in Princeville, it also has the most economical units on the north shore, especially when considering the value of the amazing views!

Private, comfortable - with breathtaking views

  • 5 of 5

Can't recommend this place enough! SeaLodge is a gem. Yes, it was built in the 70's and is an older property but it is located on a stunning, largely private bluff away from the action in and around the golf course in Princeville. We appreciated the more casual and far more private environment while also enjoying the conveniences Princeville offers. This unit (the second of three floors) is very well maintained, very comfortable and nicely decorated. We had no problems parking or finding our way to the laundry room (which was also quite satisfactory). Beds were perfect (the little day bed by the window is a treat and I sat there in the mornings watching the water drinking coffee!), trade winds kept the place cool at night, and we spent 8 very peaceful nights there feeling like we were in a home away from home. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Really enjoyed the location and the view. Loved hearing the ocean at night. Besides an amazing ocean view, being being in an end unit, we also had a view of the tropical plants.

The unit was beautiful and the view amazing.

I could never recommend staying here because of the woman right above this unit. She was a permanent resident and totally ruined the peaceful and quiet vacation experience for us. She got up early which meant we had to also. She moved around all day long, moving furniture, dropping things, even vacuuming at 7:30 a.m. We paid quite a bit for a 9-day stay and it would have been wonderful to be able to relax. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. She was incredibly disrespectful to her neighbors. We were so disappointed!!

Owner's Response: Aloha Therese, and mahalo for your comments. We're sorry that you had an inconsiderate neighbor during your stay, but the unit above is not occupied by a permanent resident. It is a vacation rental, and we're not sure why you thought otherwise (search online, you'll find reviews for unit A8). Please note that our home is located in a condominium complex, so there will be neighbors. That said, the view is quite lovely, and we're glad you liked the unit. If you decide to try staying again, we offer a 10% discount to repeat guests.
