About Matthew White
Welcome to our listing for Livin' the Good Life and most importantly we thank you for your interest in our cabin in the smokies! I am a Financial Advisor in Little Rock, AR. I have been in practice for over 10 years. I am married to my beautiful wife Kelly and we have three wonderful children. We have welcomed two daughters into our home through adoption and welcomed our first son in December 2015 and have served as foster parents for over 5 years. We are very passionate about foster and adoption and currently serve on the advisory board for "The Call", an organization created to mobilize churches to solve the problem of children in foster care or in need of adoption. As a financial advisor I love the opportunity real estate provides as an investment and way to make passive income. I bought my first vacation rental in 2015 in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and decided to diversify to Destin recently. I own and manage 7 total properties, 5 in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and 2 in Destin. Please feel free to check out all of my properties and the excellent reviews. I take great pride in providing our guest with a wonderful vacation experience. Thank you for your interest in our property and we look forward to hosting your group soon. www.vrbo.com/719975 - 2 bedroom cabin in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg www.vrbo.com/719495 - 3 bedroom cabin in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg www.vrbo.com/701816 - 4 bedroom cabin in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg www.vrbo.com/992987 - 6 bedroom cabin in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg www.vrbo.com/854322 - 6 bedroom cabin in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg www.vrbo.com/1010577 - 8 bedroom home in Destin www.vrbo.com/1119376 - 9 bedroom home in Destin

Why Matthew White chose Pigeon Forge
This cabin was snuggled just minutes away from the parkway which goes straight through Pigeon Forge but it is also located about 1.5 miles from "The Spur" which connects Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The located is ideal for those who want to be close to everything.

Clean and easy location to the strip and entrance into the National Forest
We had a great time! Cabin was clean. One suggestion is to update the bath linens or bring some from home as they were stained.
My family had an excellent time. We will come back again. Good relaxing place to relax after doing the sights. Would recommend to others.
Very nice house but needs better cleaning and maintenance!
Our family, a group of 8 people (4 married couple) had a good overall experience despite the fact that when we arrived we noticed that a few small things were broken in the house, like the hot tub siding and the toilet on the main floor bathroom. The house also needs a MUCH better cleaning. There was a lot of spider webs in the house, dirty dishes inside bedroom drawer probably from the last group who rented the house as well as some cherrios on the living room couch, but the worst was the carpet on the lower floor that was smelling really bad. On the other hand we enjoyed a lot the house, it has almost everything you need to have some fun in the mountains. Nice pool table, nice hot tub, nice table to play cards or other games, nice fire place, 4 nice bedrooms, all the kitchen stuff, nice open concept so everyone can entertain, etc. Also an easy and 100% paved access to Pigeon Forge and very close to Gatlinburg etc.
Wonderful view, plenty of room!
We had a wonderful time at Livin" the Good Life! There was enough room for my father (who could stay on one level) and my 2 daughters and their families. We ranged from age 2 to 90 and were all comfortable. Our video gamers were even thrilled with the large TV in the lower living room and the internet was fast enough to play all their games. The 2 gas fireplaces were awesome. We were able to cook family meals in a well stocked kitchen. Most of our group didn't even leave the cabin for 3 days! We look forward to staying here again in the future!
Perfect for a long weekend getaway with the family
Everything was great. It is a very convenient location. For those who are looking for something more secluded, this would not be a good spot. The cabins are very close together. For our , trip it was just right.
Our Stay at the Livin The Good Life
My family’s stay at Livin' the Good Life (GL) was very pleasant. Our stay consisted of three nights all of which very pleasant. The location has a great view of the mountains and is in a gated community. Additionally the cabin itself is well taken care of and the manager is only a email away. The location is close to the city only about 5 min drive to the main drag/ street. The cabin came with all the standard kitchen items you would need to use. The cabin also comes with a gas grill which we utilized. My only complaint was that the air hockey table on the bottom floor was at the time of this review broken (cord is torn/ ripped). Overall it is a great rental alternative to just a local hotel. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cabin rental in the Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge area to look into Livin the Good Life.
