About Vacasa, WA - Columbia Gorge Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Fun weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing that would keep us from coming back is all the fees you have when you book with Vacasa. Also, when we looked at the property it was one price, but within a 1/2 hour once I entered my credit card the price had gone up. Customer service informed us the price can change by the hour. I have never had that happen with other sites I book with.

The house was great.

Fun Moms Club Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The house and location was perfect. We enjoyed ourselves very much. We got to see wild turkeys crossing the backyard one morning. It was so peaceful, but yet close to Hood River. We would definitely come back.

The only down fall is booking through Vacasa. We had just as much in fees as the price of the house. Also, when we looked at the property it was $159 per night. By the time I entered my credit card number withing the hour, it went in as $189 a night. The customer service at Vacasa said the price can go up or down by the hour. We did not like that. For that reason we would probably pick a different site to book from.

Other than that let the owners know they have an awewsome rental house!

Comfy, private, riverfront Cabin in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

This comfy cabin in the woods was perfect! There was enough space for everyone, and we enjoyed the spectacular backyard views. The White Salmon River was less than 100 feet from the back porch. Although this cabin does not have Air Conditioning, it was definitely not needed. The temperature at night was perfect, and we were gone almost all day everyday. The kitchen was perfect for cooking at home every night, and had lots of necessary pots, pans, etc. The beds were comfy and there were extra blankets in the closet area if needed. The house was secluded and private, and definitely had that cute cabin in the woods type of feeling. The location was only about a 10 minute drive from the Hood River Bridge. I don't think our stay could have been more perfect! We loved every minute of it! I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Very nice cozy cabin

  • 5 of 5

I met up with a college friend of nearly 40 years for a girlfriend getaway and it was great! No mosquitoes which was wonderful. Several comfy choices of beds, very clean, well stocked except for a few things like wine glasses which you really don't want to pack on a road trip.... but we are of hardy stock and we made do with water glasses. The swamp cooler upstairs was great in the over 95 degree heat. The selection of local maps and brochures was very thorough and useful.
