Great location - just a block from the water!
Great location - lots to do nearby and just a short walk to the water. They had everything we needed (beach towels, snorkels, baby sand toys and even a pac n play). It was a great way to see the North Shore and feel like a local.
Hi thank u so much. So sorry about the rain.

Photo's don't do it justice
We had a great stay. The photo's don't do it justice!
We loved riding the bikes to Waimea and Turtle Bay - a great little add on.
The bed was very soft and the towels fluffy.
Thanks for a great stay.
Great place for small family vacation stay
This place worked perfectly for our vacation. We are a family of 3 so if you have a bigger family it may feel a little cramped but it was perfect for us. Teri and Dale were so kind in providing some baby items for us so we didn’t have to travel with them as well. They even had some snorkeling stuff and boogie boards we could use. The beach is literally a minute walk and there is a fantastic bakery just a 5 minute walk down the road. We loved being on the north shore away from the bustle of Honolulu and a little slower pace of life. There were lots of cool beaches and food places within 15-20 minutes drive. The only down side was no air conditioning but this seems to be an island thing. They have plenty of fans to use so it really wasn’t too bad just took a couple days to adjust to the humidity. We would definitely stay here again if we ever went back to Oahu.
North Shore nest for 2 on Sunset Beach
Terri and Dale welcomed us to their home when we arrived. The downstairs accommodations were great for my wife and I as we explored the area. It is in a tight little neighborhood with less than 5 minute walk to the beach (we had it to ourselves), a short drive to Turtle Bay (around 4PM walk in and see the turtles swim into the bay) food trucks and water sports equipment rentals of Bonzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay. Hale'iwa is nearby if you want to hit shops and brick and mortar restaurants. The bedroom had no windows, which helped us set clocks and adjust to the time change. A consideration for some perhaps, but the ceiling fan kept it breezy enough during the higher than normal temperatures. The kitchen, living room and lanai were all very comfortable. Honolulu was interesting, but this was more our style, far from the crowds.
Feeling like being at home
We enjoyed our stay very much since we had everything we needed and more. It felt like being at home plus the amazing fact that the beach is very close. Teri and Dale were very friendly and gave us all the equipment we could need.
