Perfect spot on the lake
We had a wonderful week in Lake Nebagamon with family and DeLaeter House was the perfect place to stay. The house was clean, comfortable, plenty of space to spread out, and perfect for big family meals. If it had an awning or umbrella I would've really been in heaven! Looking forward to returning next year for our 6th consecutive summer on the lake.
Perfect for our family
Another great year, our fourth at the DeLeater House. Feels like home when we get there. Always clean and ready for us! The only thing that would make it better would be to add a section to the dock, another length or a T at the end would make it perfect! Josephine and her Mom are great to work with. Looking forward to our 5th year!
Family friendly space, great lake, lots of room to play. Dairy Queen!
When my grandchildren recall their summer vacations years from now, I know the DeLaeter House and Lake Nebagamon will stand out. Besides the family friendly home and lawn, they are getting quite fond of the public beach and Dairy Queen! Thanks for sharing!
this was a perfect rental choice for our family gathering with room to spread out and enjoy our week
This very sunny large rental home is well maintained, clean and comfortable with large rooms and open spaces, perfect for us to enjoy and entertain our big family. The beautiful setting directly on the lake with a dock for our rented pontoon boat, and fire pit where we had several evening bon fires was lake life at its best. The spacious open kitchen/dining area was a favorite gathering place. The grill on the deck made it easy and fun to have dinner in and eat on the wide deck rather than find a restaurant. The large sun room at one end of the house and the living room on the other allowed us to spread out for different activities- reading, games, TV watching or just talking. Everyone loved the convenience of being right in town and walking to the shops, eating places and of course the Dairy Queen!
The owner Josephine is very responsive to any questions, issues or problems that may arise.
We would have liked another bathroom but all the other positives of location, layout, waterfront, dock, sunniness, number of BRs, fire pit etc totally outweigh that one negative.
We all agreed we would enthusiastically rent this again for our next family gathering!
We Loved It!
Our family loved our visit to Lake Nebagamon and the house was spacious enough for everyone. The kitchen was especially nice since it was big and could hold a lot of cooks in the kitchen. Grandkids had a great time fishing off the dock, paddle boating and running around in the yard.
Very neat and clean.
Lots of room and a great place to stay. Very neat and clean!
